I pivoted to this. First time trying it and my word... it's incredible.
Edit: Not technically bourbon, so I hope the bourbon thread forgives me.
Not normally a JD guy but they knocked it out of the park with this one.

Some Green River and Very Old Barton with a splash of Sprite.
Gotta save some GR for the game tomorrow since this was what I had during the last few games.

I've heard it's outstanding
I bought a bottle after trying the regular single barrel. Never been a Jack Daniels fan but I enjoyed both of the single barrel offerings immensely.pluralitus said:

Now that the crowd is gone, went in today and got some Makers' number 46. Hope it tastes as smooth as it looks.
OK, so upon fresh crack, wasn't terribly impressed. In all honesty, I was a bit disappointed. It was OK, but nothing to write home about. Woodier than I would have thought given the age statement, and a little proofy, which seemed to mute the sweet, fruity notes that I love about the regular Holladay offerings. What I was expecting, or I guess what I should say, what I was hoping for, was a worthy rival to Bardstown Disco 11. Upon first taste, it was certainly not that. Not even close.Dunlow66 said:curmudgeon.zen said:

I'm finding that Makers 46 pairs nicely with watching the NFL Draft.

Any of yall heard of kentucky hand barrel? Apparently owned by Bardstown but at $80 and only aged 2-3 years I feel like I may have bought a gimmick.
