For years I have been ridiculed on this board for calling out the MARXIST for what they are.

I do apologize... I was dead wrong.

The left is no longer MARXISTS... they are full blown COMMUNIST.

The very plan that Horizontal "Cackling Hyena" Harris is even being ridiculed by none other than the DNC's own Washington Post.....

So cuckboy and super/Smarpty.... when you two get finished gargling one another's ball sack why don't you comment on that one?

F'ng losers.

You have entered the Gaslight Zone....

And Tim Walz just "misspoke that one time". And it's "problematic" when Trump proposes tax cuts, but suddenly "good" when Kamala steals Trump's ideas and proposes the exact same tax cuts...

Brainwashed libtards are just voting for Kamala because of her "big accomplishment" of being the first female vice president.

What has been her biggest accomplishment? I'd say her work as Open Border Czar. She did an excellent job of further opening up the border and aiding the invasion of millions of illegals, advancing the communist Democrat goal of making it a totally open border where unlimited numbers of illegals can flood in.

Funny, if it wasn't such a condemnation of our society. But, it has been by design

Here's your summary of Kamala's speech on the economy:

1) "Our country has come a long way since Biden and I took office"
2) "The price of food is up 50% today than it was four years ago."
3) "Home ownership is out of reach for far too many American families."
4) "I will chart a new way forward."

Everything sucks and is too expensive but you should vote for me anyway.
Same song same dance

#2 was created by the pandemic.
#3 was required to keep #2 from getting worse.

So everything is finally stable after being handed another economic sh** sandwich from a Republican president, and you're bawling about it.

Yep, same song same dance.
except the insane policy stances she rolled out today. Let alone paying for it with the same old soak the rich and corporations. There isn't enough money there to tax $2T more in spending.

What exactly is the price gouging that is happening btw? Inflation increases costs, costs get sent up to the customer. There isn't a single supplier of meat or eggs or milk.

If you really care about that stuff, eliminate the taxes on those goods! Hey!

Calling for policies that set prices is pure socialism. It's been proven not to work. Why do you think it will work?

4 companies control 85% of beef production in the U.S. One of them, Tyson, doubled their gross profit margin to 20% during the period of time that inflation was soaring. How exactly does an inflation crises cause your gross profit margin to double if they're just "passing on their costs to the customer"? And no, there weren't mass layoffs or anything like that. The answer is obvious.

All she's talking about is strengthening anti-trust laws, which have been a thing since capitalism has existed. In fact, despite the Libertarian fan fiction capitalism tends to implode without them.

Much of that profit at the meat packing companies comes as a result of hiring a ton of illegal alien workers at their factories who they can pay dirt cheap wages.

. What's the net profit? Don't give a hoot about gross. Did they reinvest their profit? Did they build more plants? Did they hire more people? Did they pay more taxes?

Comparing gross profit year to year is dishonest.

Gross profit should tell the story, if you're trying to understand the effects of rising feed prices or whatever. But sure, if it makes you feel better:

Notice anything interesting about 2021 and 2022, the period where inflation spiked? Followed by a well deserved crash after customers revolted.

And Tyson aren't the only ones. You seriously don't think there's any possibility they were profiteering? Lol, ok man. I bet we have some pretty smart analysts at the FTC that can find out.

The fact that she couldn't garner more than 1% of the primary from Democrat voters four years ago, and now she's undemocratically handed the nomination, shows how badly this nation has lost its way.

I'm glad that the communist Left is stooping to ever newer lows to try to manufacture mythical "racism" where it doesn't exist.

This only exposes the Left as the race-baiters and race hustlers that they are, constantly relying on the tactic of stoking racial tensions and trying to control their voting base via manipulation, fear, and hatred in order to drum up support and votes.

Every election season, like clockwork, the Leftist media and Democrats create some "racial" controversy -- eg, the George Floyd 24/7 bonanza in the spring/summer/fall of 2020.

And, of course, the Democrats are the political party that is obsessed with race and openly promotes racial discrimination and hatred -- eg, with their focus on "critical race theory", demonizing white people via the "white privilege" propaganda, DEI and "affirmative action" policies, etc.

All profit? No way.

Record profit in fairly monopolistic industries? Yeah.

The problem isn't the fact of the profit. It's that there's insufficient competition in certain industries to let simple supply and demand work out a healthy balance.

The government shouldn't be in the business of picking winners, but they should be in the business of trying to protect consumers by ensuring adequate competition.

there's nothing wrong with the anti trust laws that are currently on the books. This idea that there is this scheme to gouge consumers is just a fairy tale and pandering for votes.

Near monopoly control is not the same as monopoly control. You cool with Google or Amazon having a greater monopoly than meat companies? Are they price gouging?

I don't think you're a Marxist. But I do think you believe that socialism and centralized government rather than individualism and the free market is better for the US. I think that is an emotional argument rather than one based on past history and reality.

It feels good to use the power of the government to "fix" all these problems. But the inefficiencies of centralized planning and bureaucracy make that impossible to be successful let alone cost effective. Eventually you run out of wealthy and corporations taxable money, then you run out of the middle classes money.

The fact that politicians are proposing trillions in new spending in the name of equity and fairness is a sign of disaster. Yet you continue to dismiss it.

If Google and Amazon together controlled most of a necessity like beef production in America, and they colluded to use an inflation crises as an excuse to jack their profits through the roof well beyond inflation, yes, I'd be all for going after them.

I get it that anyone with an extreme position has to assume everyone else's position is the opposite extreme, but sorry, I actually believe in the "real" word. You believe in the "efficient" markets that actually only exist on Planet Unicorn. In the real world, the one that produced the richest and most powerful nation on Earth, both market forces AND a strong government are a necessity. Either gets out of hand quickly without the other.

But apparently your unregulated market fantasies will never die, and anyone who doesn't share them is a "socialist". You never seem to remember how often the government has to step in to "fix" our "efficient" markets and prevent catastrophe, usually at taxpayers expense.
