I actually agree with this, but just because its unconstitutional hasnt stopped Biden/Harris administration from trying. The fact that Kamala's first policy proposal that is hers comes in as price controls on food, it does not instill confidence she has any idea what shes actually doing.

Both Trump and Biden have done way too much through executive action instead of going through Congress.

Now maybe you should spend a few minutes looking around at the gross profit margins of various food suppliers during 2021 and early 2022 and see if you notice anything odd. Of course they're all getting their butts kicked now thanks to a pretty well deserved consumer backlash.

A theory of "price gouging" only works where an entire industry or sector has monopoly or cartel power.

Grocery stores cannot price gouge, because there are dozens of major grocery chains that could simply "undercut" and offer lower prices, if one grocery chain were to jack up prices on certain things far above the market value of those items.

We are clearly not seeing "price gouging" at grocery stores. This is the result of INFLATION....which is not caused by price gouging. It is caused by the DEVALUATION OF THE CURRENCY (DOLLAR) - which is caused by the massive levels of government debt/spending over the last ~4 years (injecting trillions in "new money" into the supply, devaluing the currency).

Wonder if this is a $25k lump sum of cash wealth transfer from taxpayers, similar to Biden's scheme to have taxpayers pay other peoples' college loans. Or if it is something similar to "interest free" loans, that taxpayers will be paying the interest on.

  • Price controls
  • Wage controls
  • Benefits controls
  • Family expansion controls

I'm sure, as more comes out, I will be supporting additional policies that may differ from my previous positions.
