Doesn't get much better than that!

0-1 entering the 3rd, 4-1 20 minutes later.

Rangers could start clenching coming back to Raleigh, wanting to avoid a Game 7.

Canes pulse is getting stronger and the Rangers pucker factor just went up ten fold. Great 3rd period by the guys and what a game by Jordan Staal. He said get on my back boys, we're going to win this game and he delivered big time.

Oh and I have no idea if Trochek talked this much when he was in Raleigh. I imagine he did, but he has really turned into a real Richard Head Would love to see somebody deck him after Canes win game 7. Just acting like a little beyotch!

I was about to have an aneurysm during the first two periods when they kept passing the puck instead of shooting. Thankfully they figured it out in the third period

I will be shocked if Tulsky isnt the replacement. I know they named him the interim, but I expect he will get the full time gig quickly

If he can get most of the guys back and stay under the salary cap, then I am sure Tom Dundon will make it permanent. Tulsky has to be saying "Thanks a lot Don. You couldn't have waited 6 weeks to do this???"

My opinion is that he is just retiring, but that is just my opinion. Next week I might can get some information on it. I know a guy who is fairly close to Waddell and hopefully I will see him. If I get the scoop, I will let you know.

I don't think that's the case whatsoever. I think it is that we know Tulsky is the future, because he's making all the analytic decisions, and if Waddell stayed then Tulsky would have left for another job. Waddell did good but it's a move we had to make for the long term future

Apparently the Blue Jackets asked permission to speak to Waddell. His contract was also expiring this year. He is also 65 so retirement might be in the mix too.

My contact that is close to Waddell was not at his business today when I went by, so nothing new to share. I will try to get up with him this week.
