Canes won their 7th in a row last night beating the Sabres 5-1. Over the last 30 games the Canes are 24-3-3. So they have secured 51 of their last 60 points which equates to an .850 winning percentage over that time. Everybody has a long layoff for the All Star game and Carolina does not play until next Saturday. Hopefully they can keep it going! Rangers will have 3 games before coming to Raleigh next Saturday so they will not be rusty. Only advantage for the Canes is that the Rangers play on Friday and then have to travel.
