You realize he's completely contradicting the talking points you guys were tossing out the other day? "OMG how dare Zelenskyy question whether or not this deal has any security guarantees?! THE NERVE!!! Obviously if we're signing a mineral deal there will be implicit security guarantees!"

Now it's "obviously Trump didn't want to be 'trapped' into offering any security guarantees! he was smart to blow it all up!"

It's going to make the car more expensive, which in turn will allow for all manufacturers of similar cars to raise their pricing. For someone who doesn't seem to like to pay taxes, you're basically paying a tax to do this.

Ok questions:

1. What chips are going to be manufactured? Because I highly doubt TSMC is bringing 3nm chip manufacturing nor their chip R&D to Arizona.

2. Will Trump lift tariffs on raw materials that make the machines manufactured in Europe to help bring a $100B investment to the US?

3. Will the Administration allow immigration of Taiwanese and European immigrants on H1-B visas to come a run these manufacturing facilities because chip manufacturing, especially if point #1 is false is incredibly difficult and technical and will take decades to train enough US workers to do the same job?

Otherwise $100B investment by TSMC is a great thing. Hopefully we also stop propping up Intel with federal CHIPS act money.

Disagree. When car manufacturers take production to Mexico and other places oversees, you do NOT see them "pass along the cost savings to the consumers" and lower prices. Not at all. They either keep the prices the same or raise them. You are seeing that right now with Toyota Tacomas, even though they moved more production to Mexico.

I predict prices will not be raised by moving more production to the USA. And as an additional huge bonus, obviously, you are going to bring tons of jobs to the USA, helping the middle class with good-paying jobs.
