Canes clinched a playoff spot last night with the come from behind victory against the Sabres. The Rangers are closing the gap for the division title so the Canes have got to turn it around from how they have been playing lately. Hopefully last night will get them going in a positive direction.

anyone have tickets to sell for Winnipeg game on Thursday, April 21? Also, anyone familiar with the Ticketmaster pricing algorithm? If I wait until, say, the afternoon of the 21st, will the prices be lower or higher than they are now? I'm guessing lower, but maybe algorithm takes into account the games that last minute buyers are trying to play?

Ticketmaster goes lower as the event becomes closer. Ive had decent luck grabbing tickets last minute. For a Thursday game, Id wait until Wednesday before I started seriously looking. Weekend game would probably be a little earlier for me

Frederik Andersen will get an MRI done. The Hurricanes should have a better idea of his lower body injury in the coming days. Carolina obviously hoping it's not too serious at this point but the MRI will give a clearer picture.

According to the AHL transactions page, the Canes have called up Pyotr Kochetkov while they await the Andersen MRI. Kochetkov is 13-1-1 with a .921 save percentage in the AHL and has had some absolutely electric/funny moments. I for one hope he gets in a game for the content

Hell yeah the dude is the future. Hopefully Anderson isn't hurt so he doesn't have to play but good to see he is developing to the point where he is the guy we go to for an emergency call-up
