“It’s my confidence and trust in my work, and my teammates put me in good positions to make shots today.”

“It’s been tough. We’ve got a big opportunity coming up in California. We start on Monday, and we’ve got to use the opportunity to go out there, get some wins, and get back on track.”

“It’s just breakdowns late and careless turnovers. We can’t make those mistakes as a team and unit, and we’ve got to clean those areas up. When you go back to the games we’ve lost, we kind of beat ourselves. We’ve got to clean those up, and it starts Wednesday at Cal.”

Jayden Taylor

“Sometimes, we got stagnant. Sometimes, the ball stuck.”

“I don’t feel like we’re miles away [from Duke and Clemson]. I feel like we’re really close.”

“Those teams have full focus for 40 minutes. At times, we have three-minute stretches where we’re not locked in, and we have breakdowns defensively.”

Ben Middlebrooks

“I wouldn’t say there’s necessarily bad blood. It’s a tough team, and we tried to lay it out there on the court.”

“I don’t know how much of a factor I played in [Clemson’s efficiency]. Guys make shots at certain times. Obviously, they’re a really tough team. They know how to take advantage of different mismatches. They’re a very physical team, so I’m sure that played a role in it, too, being able to attack certain guys with certain matchups when I’m not in there. Again, they’re a very tough team. They’re a well-coached team. All those guys know their role and do it well.”

“It goes both ways, so it’s all good.”
