Not surprised. It's kinda of a out dated model. If you think about it NASCAR has just sat back and counted their money. I know I'm overly simplifying it.

I'm wondering if nascar rethinks the single lug wheel attachment. Seems to have been quite a few more issues early on than in the past. Not sure if it's the wider stance tire with the lower profile, the wheel or a combination of both.

The Clash was okay imo…it was something different. They could never do a points race that way. The Clash also put some pressure on SMI with regards to the All Star race. That thing needs something different.

I don't enjoy when i agree with Kyle…but i think he's more right than he is wrong. Man i was really pulling for my guy Ross there. Personally a lot of special memories from that track with him and a lot of friends who work and run that team. Was gonna tear the roof off if that happened. Soon hopefully

Watched it and enjoyed it. Some good competitive racing in my opinion. At least Byron didn't get wrecked or wreck himself this week. First Top 5 finish of the year, which was badly needed.

Wreck with about 5 laps left with Kyle Busch leading fairly comfortably on a long green run... most of the leaders took 4 tires (all anybody had left were scuffs though according to the announcers), but the Hendrick cars only took inside rubber (stickers though somehow) and came out 1-2-3 (Larson-Bowman-Byron)... by the time they got everything cleaned up it was the dreaded green, white, checker. Larson picked outside lane, so Bowman to the inside lane. They pretty much ran side by side for the two laps (which went quick) with neither one ever able to clear the other and Bowman just beat him to the line.

Busch needed probably 5 laps... 2 wasn't enough.

It was funny because the announcers were saying "Busch doesn't have to panic here. He seems calm."

Well he's only got 2 laps to make a move. It ain't happening for him. That's probably why he was calm!

Bowman had a good car, the Hendrick boys took two tires when a lot took four during a caution. In overtime…payed off.
