.@FoxSports wants to see the @NASCAR All-Star Race moved next year, and rotate every year like MLB's All-Star Game, and it's talking to the league about that, per Bill Wanger, Fox's EVP and head of programming and scheduling.

.@NBC was averaging a 1.81 rating and 2.921 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup race at Nashville before the first rain delay, per @ShowBuzzDaily.

Last year's full race got a 1.5 rating and 2.59 million viewers but it was on NBCSN. https://t.co/AFN3K2qyp0

Not bad. Numbers probably would have been better without the rain.

That, coupled with the fact that NBC's broadcast team is far and away better than FOX's.

I think both are good, just NBC's is really good. I wish NBC would turn up, just a small amount, the volume on the cars. They probably set things the same as last year. Last year, the pipes came out one side, this year, it's both. Adjust the volume a little…. I want to hear the cars more.

I prefer NBC's coverage. Not so gimmicky as FOX.

.@NASCAR has been working with the estate of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. over the last year to put out a bunch of new licensed merchandise around The Intimidator, whose brand remains fashionable two decades after his passing.

Nice weekend for racing. Interested to see if NASCAR returns to RA next year. I'm not a big road course guy, but I'm not a fan of a street course.

Just watched the SRX race at Stafford, CT. Ryan Newman wins. He was emotional after the race; the other drivers were so happy for him. Good race. Will watch again. Next SRX race is at Nashville on July 9.

I understand change and progress but I cannot get use to the July 4th race not being at Daytona.

My wife is out of town, visiting my daughter in NYC, so, I was able to watch the SRX race, as well. I enjoyed it!

It's different, but over the last few years there seemed like the crowd was less and less. I'd rather it be there, as I'm not a big road course guy.

I thought yesterdays race was ok, not good or great. That said, I watched the whole race and didn't take my normal Sunday afternoon nap.

The rovals, at Charlotte and Daytona, are better than the purpose built road courses.
