How many baseball games are played each year in even above 85 degree temps? Not many at all. Just seems far more pressing needs than a cover for seating. There are plenty of college baseball stadiums that don't have covered seating. In fact, most I can think of do not.Jtilley said:

Don't be a jerk. Sunscreen doesn't help with the intense heat of sitting in direct sun. Plus remember, you have a high percentage of fans who are older and more susceptible to heat stroke and skin cancers. If you haven't had skin cancer (I have), you might not understand the concern many of us have.

Yep, that leaves half that are hotter, and the ones late in the season can be absolutely brutal...what is your point? I'm just saying - go look at all SEC and ACC stadiums and the overwhelming majority have some sort of cover of structure that provides some shade. While you are at it, go look at ECU's stadium as well as Coastal Carolina's. Yes, there are games when a cover wouldn't matter, but on those days when it is sunny and brutally hot, it matters!StateFan2001 said:
