42 Days until the home opener. Field looks great, but seems they still have a lot to do on the project. But a lot can happen in that time.

With rockets landing themselves on the regular, you simply can't convince me there's no way to get those seats covered.
Three things we can do to make this a minimum viable product D1 facility: finish the remodeled grass berm and beer tent down the third base line, replace the embarrassing eyesore press box that defines Lee Fowler's legacy - replacing with an elevated press box and premium seating area that sits above the concourse, and erect a large awning that covers the seating. Do these three things and we'll be set for 30-40 years.
The work completed so far looks good. Definite improvement.

Agreed. Especially on the press box. That pitiful thing is so embarrassing and really drags down the overall "vibe" of the entire facility, and makes it look like a glorified high school stadium.

Agreed, and I would like to see them add a few rows of premium seating behind home plate, bringing the seats a little closer to field level.
