How many baseball games are played each year in even above 85 degree temps? Not many at all. Just seems far more pressing needs than a cover for seating. There are plenty of college baseball stadiums that don't have covered seating. In fact, most I can think of do not.Jtilley said:

Don't be a jerk. Sunscreen doesn't help with the intense heat of sitting in direct sun. Plus remember, you have a high percentage of fans who are older and more susceptible to heat stroke and skin cancers. If you haven't had skin cancer (I have), you might not understand the concern many of us have.

I'm just saying - go look at all SEC and ACC stadiums and the overwhelming majority have some sort of cover of structure that provides some shade. While you are at it, go look at ECU's stadium as well as Coastal Carolina's. Whether you give a crap about people who have skin sensitivities of not is not so much the issue here. Want to remain being considered one of the worst stadiums in the ACC, then do nothing and leave Doak to look and function like a glorified high school stadium. But if you want to appeal to a broader section of fans and look like a real legit major college stadium, this is a problem that cannot be ignore indefinitely!
