I'm not sure how you justify voting for an admin that vilified their opponent to the point that they convinced people to want him dead.

Say what you want about Trump. He's got problems, but frankly, the admin that is spewing hate like this shouldn't claim to be protecting democracy, they aren't doing anything close to that. They are part of the problem, playing a big part in slow destruction of our republic.

Wish I could give you 100 stars for this post.

I think this is a valid question.

I mean, do we even have the real shooter? Pretty strange for him to be out in the open like that and the snipers not see him.

I'm thinking this is a false flag type.

Really. So they either had someone who was able to put a bullet through the top part of his ear instead of his brain pan. Or they seriously would risk an all out civil war??? For what?
Yeah, I think it would have been the start of a civil war if the assassination attempt had been successful. We came about 1 inch away from this country being changed forever.

This "kid" definitely has mental issues from now reading the news. Now Im wondering if there will be another crazy in response to Biden or his admin. Tensions are high now. I mean we all saw what happened on Jan 6, and that was just over false claims. What happens when it goes after the leader? could get a lot worse.

If you've been keeping up with all the evidence coming out now the Jan 6 claims aren't actually false.

Excellent observation. Democratic leadership as a whole depends on the "low information voter" to maintain its power. They use scare tactics to the extreme when they cannot control the individual or issue.

And some people want women to be drafted. Can you imagine being in a tank with one of them, or a foxhole? Running around like beheaded chickens.
I'm not a woman and even in my prime, I doubt I had what it takes to be on the Detail. Because of my regular duties in the military involved escorting hazardous cargo, I actually had a chance to go through the Service's defensive driving school and that convinced me of my own limitations. I once worked briefly on two different PPD's with a female agent, she had some big, crazy hair so my colleagues from the Army Technical Escort Unit (a few of us were loaned to the Service in the days before the Service had its own Chemical-biological specialists) jokingly referred to her as Agent Bird'sNestHair. I've no idea of her competence, never saw her in action. But it occurs to me that the right women like the right men, are out there and up for the job. Someone tall and athletic like Tilda Trygger could at least completely physically eclipse Trump anyway, unlike that disturbing coverage we all saw the other day.

If the building had a apex, the snipers may not have seen him until the shot was fired. Lots of questions need to be answered here.

A now-deleted Facebook post by a staffer of Mississippi's lone Democrat congressman appeared to support the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on Saturday.

The deleted post by Jacqueline Marsaw, a field director for U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Mississippi, said "I don't condone violence but please get you some shooting lessons so you don't miss next time ooops [sic] that wasn't me talking."

Anyone, no matter what party affiliation, should be fired immediately and held accountable for any such comments like this staffer above. This along with hundreds of other comments over the past few years are totally deplorable and have driven the country to where it is today.

Pelosi, Biden, most media have relentlessly attacked Trump and said things that would normally cause the person to be arrested and released from their position. To allow this to continue with no recourse is a missed opportunity to hold folks accountable. When you keep letting the comments happen, well....this is what you get.

Pelosi and Harris have both been targeted as well if you'll recall.

Yes, there have been attacks on both sides. I mentioned that first....it needs to stop all around.

I will say for me personally, Pelosi tearing up her copy of Trump's State of the Union speech on national TV was a truly deplorable moment in American history. You don't have to agree with an individual but someone in her position should be able to control themselves and not act in such a childish manner in front of the world for all to see. To me, her doing that told others it was ok to act out and say/do whatever you want to and nothing will be done to reprimand you.

It's all PROJECTION from what the communist Left is actually doing.

racism - demonizing all white men in the country as "the biggest domestic terrorist threat", whining about "white privilege", fear-mongering about the fantasy of "systemic white supremacy", using "affirmative action" and DEI to discriminate against white people

fascism - for example, the Biden Regime colluding with Big Tech to ban and censor people on social media who opposed the covid scamdemic and the tyranny enacted because of it, working with Big Pharma to coerce and force people to be injected with their products

dictator - for example, Biden regime unilaterally and illegally acting to force people to be injected with poison or lose their jobs

"threat to democracy" - the communist Democrats trying to ban Trump from being on the ballot, weaponizing the legal system to persecute Trump supporters (J6 hostages) and use lawfare against Trump to keep him from being able to run for President, Democrats and their RINO collaborators rigging elections everywhere through massive election fraud (eg, with hundreds of thousands of mail in ballots that are all for Biden magically showing up at 3am on election night in every battleground state)

The Trump Campaign has authorized a gofundme page for the victims of the shooting at Butler, Pennsylvania yesterday. This is a link to the story in the NY Post and the link to the gofundme page is in the first paragraph.

I have donated and would encourage others to do as well. Every little bit helps for these people who have had their lives torn apart just because they wanted to see Trump in person and support him.

Ultimately, to me there are two major lessons out of this:

1) there needs to be a complete review of SS practices, including hiring/training and assigning agents, in to how an elevated position concise by was left unsecured

2) discourse needs to be evolved. This is not a political statement. It is a human one. Both parties, the mainstream media that supports them, the social media sites, and other outlets of influence need to realize the impact the continual barrage of garbage they spew forth has an impact

On this site, we have mentions of civil war now (if I were owners, I'd suspend those folks immediately because I don't meet my site linked to those kind of hate mongers).
Twitter is awash today with progressives who, while maybe not advocating, are strongly justifying the action.

Both of these perspectives are perverse and destructive.
And both are common from both parties (amd the media)

Wow, another (Leftist?) coming out of the woodwork whining for censorship. If you don't like what I'm saying or my thread, then put me on ignore, or don't click on my threads.

I'm not stopping anyone from having a "civil discourse". It's people like you who want to censor people, and ACTUALLY prevent a discourse from even taking place. And I am civil and respectful with other people here. To the contrary, it is my opponents here who are engaged in uncivil, childish personal attacks and name-calling against me -- over and over, for example, calling me "stupid"/etc in the flat earth thread.

It is childish Leftists who prevent the civil discourse (devolving it to childish personal attacks), and who then want to prevent a discourse from even being able to take place by then whining for censorship.

No. This site does not have to be associated with posters comments that are even partway leaning towards violence. That is not censorship. That is a business decision

This bad guy is now going to have everything he has done inspected by authorities. I would not want my company name to have any thing associated with him or have been potentially tied to things that radicalized him.

This is why your employer won't let you post your venom towards people who are not just like you on their website.

YOU are the one gaslighting with this post. Everything you said is a complete inversion of reality. It is the communist Left who has celebrities, major pundits, and Democrat politicians openly calling for violence against Trump supporters and advocating for Trump's assassination. You cannot find any videos of right-wing pundits and celebrities calling for violence. But we can easily find DOZENS of clips of commie libtards doing so.

Once again, your post is a prime example of the Saul Alinksy "Rules For Radicals" tactic of accusing conservatives of the things that the communist Left are actually doing.

Twitter is awash today with progressives who, while maybe not advocating, are strongly justifying the action.

Both of these perspectives are perverse and destructive.
And both are common from both parties (amd the media)
Funny how Leftists only ever advocate that right-wingers be censored. No, it is not "hate mongering" to just talk about the possibility that Leftists are pushing this country towards civil war. I haven't seen anyone on IPS advocating for a civil war.

As for "hate-mongering", that's just a made up Leftist term to try to justify censorship. Is it "hate-mongering" when Leftists smear Trump as "literally Hitler" all day long and advocated for his assassination all these years??

I don't advocate for censorship at all. "Hate speech" is protected speech.

The communist Left and the Democrats are the ones promoting violence -- as I've proved with the clips of Pelosi and all the other demonrat politicians and Leftist celebrities publicly calling for violence against Trump supporters and advocating Trump's assassination. So let's start your censorship campaign here by suspending and banning the Leftist posters.

I really hope yesterday means everyone will turn their rhetoric down a notch on both side. I doubt it happens
