Yeah, they pretty much retconned FO1,FO2 and NV.
All the games they didn't make.

Agree that Fallout is worth the time, and I also never played the game.

Three Body Problem is decent, but having just finished the books it's hard for me to judge it.

I'll never watch anything D&D create after they fumbled the end of GoT so badly. And it's not just the writing. They wanted to get out to go do something else and instead of finishing it the way it deserved, they just phoned it in with stupid cinema tropes that were the antithesis of what the entire series was about. I'm sure they'll do that with this show too.

Loved S1 of The Old Man, but have not enjoyed s2 as much. Not bad, just not up to same level. I had hoped they had gotten rid of Amy Brennerman role, but see she is now back. Really have strong dislike for her and her character

If you like Yellowstone, go check out "Territory" on Netflix. Only 6 episodes, but really enjoyable, and VERY much like Yellowstone.. but not as slow(IMO).

I'm a gigantic DC fanboy, and I know a lot of folks don't watch animation because they aren't people of culture, but Creature Commandos was really, really well done. Excited for the Superman movie even though I've never been much of a fan of that character.

You think so? I think it's been super mid so far. I don't think there's any real cohesion between what the original showrunners wanted to do and what the showrunners that took over are trying to do with retconning the storyline into something else. I was hyped for this show because of the Netflix series but it's just been okay for me.

Also the bombing of the cia agents by the supposed spy was nuts. Why would they automatically trust a traitor to truly help them and spy for them. And not at least do any sort of checks on him when he entered the base. That was just stupid on their part. I was not aware of that event prior to this show.

I know this gets beyond the actual thread title, but does anyone watch "The Curse of Oak Island"? I got hooked into it Year 1, and haven't been able to escape it's grip ever since then... I even remember what month it usually resumes every year and when it usually ends. Crazy.

Not Netflix, but the History Channel starts a 20 episode series entitled "World War II with Tom Hanks" tonight at 8:00. I definitely plan to watch this series. Hope I'm not disappointed, because this could be really good.

Waiting for this to hit Hulu. Pretty excited for this one, Tom Hanks usually does these things correctly

Saw this as well and had the same reaction. They KNEW the sub would fail at some point but thought they could monitor the risk of failure based on the number of cracking sounds the hull made. Then when it made some truly alarming sounds, he wrote it off as "typical". Not to mention leaving the sub sitting out in a parking lot all winter.

Amazing how he was so all-in on the concept and company that he couldn't allow himself to see what was happening. Kudos to Josh Gates, the Discovery Channel guy, for backing out of his planned Expedition episode.

Really interesting and sad look at a disaster in slow motion.
