Started watching "The Boys" on Amazon. The world has a lot of Superheroes and there is a group called "The Seven" which are all under a corporate umbrella and considered the "superstar" heroes. It's very corporate and they're actually very corrupt / have ulterior motives. Then there is a ragtag group that comes together called "The Boys" that are vigilantes trying to take on the heroes / corporation / etc. It can be pretty dark but I've really enjoyed it so far.
Warning - Trailer has some blood / violence

Binge watched The Boys this past weekend...saw the first episode and next thing you know it's Sunday night at 12 am and I'm squeezing in the last episode.
Outrageous show and concept. Loved it.
Great cast all around, especially you Ms. Elisabeth Shue and Starlight.

Not a series, but Letterman's interview with Zach Galifianakis is pretty funny. He spends a little time talking about his time at State.
Fargo on Hulu is pretty great as well - Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, Bob Odernkirk, etc
Fargo isn't for everyone. I saw that at the theater after hearing great things. My wife was so upset, we left before it ended. Perhaps if you're from that area, the local humor is a hit, but the dark aspects of the movie require a certain attitude.statefan91 said:

Sure, understand. I will say that Fargo on Hulu is a TV series, not the movie that came out in the 90s. Has anyone watched 'The Irishman' yet? Finally carved out 3 1/2 hours of time on a rainy Sunday yesterday to make time for it. IMO not quite in the class of Goodfellas or Casino, but not far off. Good movie.

I've started watching Fringe on Amazon and Blacklist on Netflix. You get commercials with Fringe but its still a great show.
The wife and I have also started watching Murdoch Mysteries on Acorn. I typically hate shows in the British mystery genre but it has been surprisingly enjoyable

Frontier is pretty good on Netflix, Jason mamoa. If you like him check out see on Apple TV. New show only 7 episodes so far - not bad. And the madolorian on Disney plus has been fantastic so far. Don't have to be a Star Wars nerd to appreciate.
I think this thread should be updated to include Disney + as well. And on that note, I'd definitely recommend The Mandalorian if you are halfway interested in Star Wars.

That series is amazing. I'm a huge Star Wars fan so I naturally love it, but I've heard several non-Star Wars folks talk about how much they're enjoying it as well.
Just started watching Derry Girls about teenage girls in Catholic School and family set in Ireland in the 90s.. 30 minute sitcom. hilarious. Watched 6 episodes in a blink.

Just got into Jack Ryan and it has been outstanding thus far.
Murdock mysteries (a&e version) the artful detective is a very good series. Set in around 1900 Toronto. Highly recommend it
