Yeah, they pretty much retconned FO1,FO2 and NV.
All the games they didn't make.
Things that make you go hmmmmm...

It's OK though. I've already watched it twice, and I haven't watched a "TV Show" in years.

I've enjoyed fallout. Never played the game. Also started rewatching black sails. Fantastic show.

Agree that Fallout is worth the time, and I also never played the game.

Three Body Problem is decent, but having just finished the books it's hard for me to judge it.

I'll never watch anything D&D create after they fumbled the end of GoT so badly. And it's not just the writing. They wanted to get out to go do something else and instead of finishing it the way it deserved, they just phoned it in with stupid cinema tropes that were the antithesis of what the entire series was about. I'm sure they'll do that with this show too.
