Topping out ceremony for the pitching lab
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

The WPC does a lot a good things but unless you donate a bunch of money to a single project they don't really care about you. LTR holders don't get to experience these things.

Well, I don't know the answer to that question, but I can tell you this… I've been a LTR (4) seat holder at the Doak for 20+ years and gave $25,000 to the WPC for the Doak expansion, and I did NOT get an invite. I also know someone who gave $50,000 to the expansion, got invited to that event, but can't get a weekday/weekend parking spot behind the tennis courts, because that cutoff was for WPC Members with a ranking of 300 or better (I did get one of those). I guess it has gotten REALLY hard to make us all happy and continue to raise more and more dollars. Unfortunately, it's where we are now in college sports. I hate it too.

This is no way to run an athletics fundraising organization or treat loyal, generous supporters. Very disappointed to hear this. Stroking a $25k check for a project like this ought to get an invite.

With having an event in an ongoing construction site there was likely a limited number of spots. Sounds like that cutoff was at least $50K donors based only on one person's experience. Unfortunate that everyone who donated, even down to a few dollars, wasn't invited but it's understandable they couldn't invite everyone. Good to see they're making progress and glad they were able to have this event. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Yeah, hard to pass judgement without knowing what qualified for an invite. They raised 20m, maybe the folks there gave 100k+. Obviously 50k or 25k are very large, wonderful, amazing gifts, and way more than I gave, we just don't know what the parameters were for this particular event. I'm sure there will be some sort of ceremony and acknowledgement when the project is actually done , this is just one part of it after all.
