NBC had it de-prioritized again. This time for the Paralympics (are you kidding me?). Punted to USA.

Somebody must have given your Diffy guy my memo. Let the other announcers talk MUCH more this week than he did at Daytona. I'm sorry though, he's still annoying to me... you don't have to yell for people to hear you broadcast a motorsports event.

Good race though with lots of drama and unexpected twists and turns.

The days of 3 or so drivers getting in on points are looking long gone. Wallace and Ross both finished higher in driver points than a few of those guys.

No you aren't. I was saying that the days of pointing your way in isn't a guarantee. Just think if the 3 wins Richmond, if the 47 doesn't cause that late caution

TNN is a blast from the past. I looked it up and it's on the Paramount network now? At least now I can watch Harvick's podcast a couple of nights every week in lieu of the now cancelled "Race Hub".

Trigger me? Come on…. By now, you should realize that triggering me isn't a thing. We all have different preferences and I'm fine with that. BTW, I haven't heard the new "Voice of the Wolfpack" so I can't comment.

That said, it's going to be hard to replace Gary after his tenure. Think about the older folks (that includes me) that remember Wally and Gary and thinking… no way this new Gary can replace Wally. Well, he did and did it well…

I'm probably in the minority; however, I was never a fan of Rockingham. I went to races there and I thought it was a boring race, most of the time…. Now, I would love to see it have a date, with the big league..

NASCAR announces three new shows including truTV playoff special

While two of which will be video podcasts on YouTube and other platforms, the headliner is a new truTV and Max series that is a preview of what's to come ahead of Warner Bros. Discovery televising a midseason package of races next year.

NASCAR Inside the Playoffs will air Thursday nights on truTV and Max and features the return of longtime studio host Shannon Spake along with NBC race analyst Steve Letarte. Dylan Smith and Jordan Bianchi will also be a part of the show as will a series of rotating set of current and former drivers.

Rick Hendrick is fat and 75 years old
Roger Penske is 87
Joe Gibbs is 83
Childress is 78 and Roush is 82

Does anyone really think those organizations will continue once those guys are gone? If history is any indication, the answer is no they definitely wont be around very long once theyre gone.

There isnt a whole lot of new owners beating down the door to come into the sport either.

I am afraid for NASCAR's future. Dont know if this charter stuff is good for the sport or not. Maybe it's just a bunch of noise anyways since they cant even get 40 cars most weeks as it is.

Jeff Gordon is a owner of HMS

Penske is structured like a corporation

Austin is going to take over RCR

The Gibbs are family run

Brad K and Fenway are owners in RFK

So, I would say no. These guys have done a good job of setting up the future
