Diffy is doing great. I honestly didnt like the idea of him calling races but he is sooooo much better than I thought he'd be.TheStorm said:
NBC had it de-prioritized again. This time for the Paralympics (are you kidding me?). Punted to USA.
Somebody must have given your Diffy guy my memo. Let the other announcers talk MUCH more this week than he did at Daytona. I'm sorry though, he's still annoying to me... you don't have to yell for people to hear you broadcast a motorsports event.
Good race though with lots of drama and unexpected twists and turns.

The days of 3 or so drivers getting in on points are looking long gone. Wallace and Ross both finished higher in driver points than a few of those guys.Wolfer79 said:

I know that 2 isn't 3, but am I missing something?
TNN is a blast from the past. I looked it up and it's on the Paramount network now? At least now I can watch Harvick's podcast a couple of nights every week in lieu of the now cancelled "Race Hub".ncsupack1 said:
Also, I heard on the Tear Down that TNN will have a weekly playoff show with guest drivers and couple of host.

.@23XIRacing investor Curtis Polk's publicized shirt sign at Darlington was a reference to a new anti-disparagement clause that @NASCAR has inserted into drafts of the charter deal, per sources and a comment from @DennyHamlin on his @DirtyMoMedia podcast. https://t.co/XMC6XQ6Gst

Trigger me? Come on…. By now, you should realize that triggering me isn't a thing. We all have different preferences and I'm fine with that. BTW, I haven't heard the new "Voice of the Wolfpack" so I can't comment.TheStorm said:I know Cary, I know... I'm the only one here again for the second week in a row.caryking said:100% agree! Please don't go read my post on the "Voice of the Wolfpack" thread...
It might "trigger" you.
I'm probably in the minority; however, I was never a fan of Rockingham. I went to races there and I thought it was a boring race, most of the time…. Now, I would love to see it have a date, with the big league..Glasswolf said:ncsupack1 said:.Glasswolf said:

Some Cup Series teams are preparing to sign @NASCAR's charter agreement and could do so by the end of this weekend, per sources, although others may hold out and keep negotiating.

Does anyone really think those organizations will continue once those guys are gone? If history is any indication, the answer is no they definitely wont be around very long once theyre gone.
There isnt a whole lot of new owners beating down the door to come into the sport either.
I am afraid for NASCAR's future. Dont know if this charter stuff is good for the sport or not. Maybe it's just a bunch of noise anyways since they cant even get 40 cars most weeks as it is.
