Couldn't ask for better weather today. My dark horse today is Berry. Although some strong Hendrick cars up front.
Please just don't make me have to watch Denny Hamlin win today...

Lord, I hope not. His streak comes to an end here.
I assume that you are attending in person?

Yes I am. Up and cooking breakfast.
How long of a drive to Martinsville is it for you?

Around 2 hours. Not bad at all.
Enjoy a hotdog or 12 for me! Always enjoyed Martinsville.
I love a Hot Dog. I've never been to Martinsville; however, I've heard the Hot Dogs there are the best…
Only race track hotdog I've seen come close were the ones sold at the old Wilson County Speedway. I've got some in the fridge with some chili and onions ready to go for the race this afternoon lol

1-2-3. 3rd win for my #24 on the season, and great to see Chase slowly becoming a factor again... that was a good watch!

Over 100 laps there at the end, and the writing was on the wall when Logano only took two and then led the next ~50 laps...

If NASCAR isn't going to increase horsepower then Goodyear needs to start bringing a softer tire. As of now there is no penalty with the car for a mistake made by the driver.

Not sure what you know about it ncsu, but there is no menu. Prime ribeye is the only item. Chef brings dead cow to your table and you tell him how many ounces you want. He carves the dead cow in front of you. Then you go to the salad bar that is tupperware bowls on a lazy susan. The salad components are actually very high quality. They also have items such as sardines to garnish your salad. You get steak, baked potato, optional onions for your steak, salad plus beer or tea. If they're full when you show up, you can get a beer or drink inside, then either return to your car, tailgate with others, or play cornhole with other waiting patrons outside. With no alcohol drinks and 8 oz. steak (looks more like 16 oz), will set you back $50/person plus tip.%A0 Everyone should go one time.

.@FS1 got 2.191 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville, nearly flat from 2.218 million viewers last year (the race @ChaseElliott returned from injury) despite immense competition from the @WFinalFour championship game, which got 18.7 million viewers.

That looks like my kind of place. Similar to The Peddler in Raleigh.
Charolais in Hickory as well... and damn, that makes me want to go back again.
Have you guys ever been to The Homestead Steakhouse up in Timberlake, NC? It's up 501 from Durham.
I think packgrad goes there on a randomly regular basis... I guess ncsu might be from somewhere around Durham as well, but no - I have not been there... yet.

.@FS1 got 2.191 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville, nearly flat from 2.218 million viewers last year (the race @ChaseElliott returned from injury) despite immense competition from the @WFinalFour championship game, which got 18.7 million viewers.

I loved the "Ruby Red" Hendricks Motorsports paint jobs from Sunday as well...

And there was plenty of that color in the stands and back stretch.
Per Charlotte observer, 1500 Hendrick Motorsports employees (current and former) attended the race last Sunday. Wow.

I can see that. They took up a quarter of the back stretch with tents and food vendors. I'm not a Hendrick guy but sucks that he wasn't able to be there, was going to drive the pace car. Hated it for him.

At the moment I guess Berry, but overall I just pull for Ford and enjoy the race itself. I was a Harvick guy for a long time.

Hey, how about that new road around the top of Greensboro now? If you were coming from the east, I bet that thing really cuts off some time now, huh?

It does some, makes for a cleaner drive. Coming home though GPS almost always wants me to come down through Hillsborough and on to 40. You make any races these days?

Good looking car. Glad SHR is doing something special for one of the better crews chiefs the sport has had.

I hope your car / guy has a nice run... if Chase had stayed with the #24, I'd still be pulling for him now - but I think I actually got the long-term upgrade with Byron anyway as it turns out.

You know that Harvick would love to see that #4 in victory lane again.

Thanks. Currently with HMS there isn't really a bad choice, they are running well. My oldest son is a big HMS and Chase fan, he was upset that the 9 didn't win Sunday, but he was happy for the team though.
