I talked to him and he was referring to the track change that has bunched up the field. He hasn't watched in a number of years. He and I used to go to Rockingham together.
I was positioned quite comfortably upon the couch in my home office enjoying this race yesterday afternoon through about exactly halfway into the second stage when my wife walks in... "I'm ready to watch that movie you promised to watch with me this weekend" (Saturday was her birthday).

God bless her.
So what did you do? lol
I did the smart thing and watched the movie with her like I had promised and didn't complain about it.

What's up with the 34? They appear to be making everything work right now…
I'd say with Front Row moving up to tier 1 for Ford has helped. Also, Michael is a really good driver, especially on road courses.

0.9 second drop off from #1 to #10 in qualifying (second round).

Almost a 2 second drop off from #1 to #38 in qualifying (first round) based on what I was able to find.

I hate 3 PM green flags. Unless it's a night race it needs to be 1 PM or a different time zone then adjust to 1 PM their time

I think they may have added or removed one turn. It's now being referred to as the super speedway of road courses. And we just had the big one on the 1st lap.

lol I just watched a 1995 Watkins Glen race....and WG is the most unchanged track on the circuit to now. Heck they still have the blue armco all the way around the track
