It's been better than I thought. But yes, tomorrow could get interesting.Glasswolf said:The racing tonight has the potential to be a demolition derby but I'm enjoying the racingncsupack1 said:

It was okay, I do think there is a good chance, that tonight will be pretty good. NASCAR has already had to get on Kyle Busch...lolTheStorm said:
I watched some of the qualifying last night, but lost interest before they ever got to any of the heat races and ended up watching something else. Will try to watch a little of it tonight, if I remember that it's coming on at 8PM on a Sunday and if I'm not already watching something better.
Let's get this little stunt over and out of the way and move on to Daytona.
I was somewhat surprised with SVG doing as well as he did, I'm also glad to see RFK have all three cars make it.ge_traveler said:
The first heat race was terrible, a lot of banging and pushing in the corners causing spins (which is what you get at Bowman Gray when they aren't able to get spread out). But the next 3 heats were pretty decent, some good racing. Will be interesting to see how it goes tonight.
I was surprised to see how well Van Gisbergen did, finished 3rd in his heat. He was one of the best at breaking getting into the corners without locking up his tires....... his road course experience helped with that. I lot of others were having issues with that, especially in the practice laps before the heat races.
SVG just seems to be one of those guys that is a natural race car driver.ncsupack1 said:I was somewhat surprised with SVG doing as well as he did, I'm also glad to see RFK have all three cars make it.ge_traveler said:

Looking that way, I want to see how he does on the 1.5s.Glasswolf said:SVG just seems to be one of those guys that is a natural race car driver.ncsupack1 said:I was somewhat surprised with SVG doing as well as he did, I'm also glad to see RFK have all three cars make it.ge_traveler said:

Didn't place in, based on points, Ryan Blaney will get in if he doesn't place here.caryking said:
Why didn't Kyle Larson qualify for the main race?
Better than I thought. BTW, Ricky, took out the local fan favorite....lolcaryking said:
I think this is good racing.
It's so much better than what they were holding at the LA Coliseum.caryking said:

A buddy of mine just texted me the same thing. And I have to agree.Glasswolf said:It's so much better than what they were holding at the LA Coliseum.caryking said:

Agree. As a Berry fan and a Ford guy, I'm happy.Glasswolf said:
Smart move by Josh Berry to let Larson go. Larson could have just stayed behind Berry. He probably knew what Dillon was looking to do.
Agree. This is a great opportunity for Chase.ge_traveler said:
Looking forward to seeing what Briscoe does in the 19 this year
