Good run by my #24 yesterday, staying inside the Top 10 and giving himself a chance for a solid finish.

When Bell is "on" he's as good as anybody there is - including Blaney... kid will be a legit championship contender again this season.

Bell reminds me of a early, mid career Kyle Busch. He's a race car driver and can just drive and compete on any track.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Bell is a good driver. He is coming into his own, kind like what has happened to Byron.

Nice looking car. As a Berry fan, he has some work to do.

.@FoxTV got a 2.15 rating and 4.132 million viewers for Sunday's @NASCAR race @COTA, up from a 3.310 million for last year, but that took place in late March.

That makes the race the most-watched sport event of the weekend, but down from last year's third points race (Vegas)

I always look forward to the throwbacks at Darlington.

A 500K, not miles. I had to explain that to a co worker this week.

Going by memory so I'll probably be wrong, but is this the 301 laps track?

Thought yesterday's race was okay, it was the final lap that made it really good. I don't mind PHX, just isn't the greatest racing there. See how today goes, someone on this board should be happy with who has the pole.

What time does the NASCAR Cup race at Phoenix start?
The Shriners Children's 500 starts at 3:30 p.m. ET (12:30 p.m. local) at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.

What TV channel is the NASCAR Cup race at Phoenix on?
FS1 is broadcasting the Shriners Children's 500 and has a pre-race show beginning at 2 p.m. ET (11 a.m. local).

Will there be a live stream of the NASCAR Cup race at Phoenix?
The Shriners Children's 500 can be live streamed on Max and the FoxSports app. Viewers can also stream the race on Fubo, which is offfering a free trial to new subscribers.

The CW has some issues to figure out. I heard that not every CW carries the race, the race can't be watched on the app, When NASCAR and the CW, announced the partnership, both bragged about how viewers wouldn't need a antenna and how just about every home has the CW.

Hate these "dirty air" tracks like this that whoever wins the restart runs off from everybody.

Not that I mind the current placing, but rather the poorer quality of the racing.

I do like the new sponsor / paint scheme for Byron today, but that Mobil 1 Pegasus #45 is the bomb!

Mobil 1 does a great job with their cars. These flat tracks NASCAR has some work to do with this car.

Bell on the move as well. Up to 4th. Blaney up to 5th. Both of those cars are historically good on this track.

Agree. Not sure how the day goes for Bell, but the young man is really starting click.

Wow, what a race. Love seeing Berry finish top 5. Bell, has figured it out.

Yep. Really good race. The tire thing was kind of exciting, even though I admit that I hated when they did it last year (Richmond?). Was happy for Bell, that the car that deserved to win the race actually won.

I had family members come over and I missed the race. I literally turned on the TV as Bell was crossing the finish line. How was the racing?
ncsupack1
How long do you want to ignore this user?
The racing was good due in part because of the 2 tire option. Overall the best car won.

Putting this as a response to your post, because you'll probably know the answer...

Last 4 in a row that I can remember was Harry Gant in the old Skoal Bandit car. Can't remember if anybody has done it since - if so, I'd have to assume it would be Jimmie. I don't think Jeff ever did it either.

Bell could really be in rare air if he does it again next week.

Interesting looking at the points so far... all 4 Hendrick Drivers in the Top 11 (Byron 1, Chase 5, Bowman 6, Larson 11), the 2 Penske studs in the Top 9 (Blaney 4, Logano 9), 23XI with both their drivers in (Reddick 3, Bubba 12 - even after that late wreck killed his points yesterday), Gibbs with his two Alpha's (Bell 2, Hamlin 7) - and just for Glass - Kyle Busch 8 (nice to see him being competitive and getting some better luck).

13-16 are John Hunter, Stenhouse, McDowell and Chastain. Berry up 12 spots to 21.

Bell is the defacto #1 regardless of what the points say though obviously...

Been an exciting start to the season with one of my favorite tracks coming up next.

Edited to add: I'm old enough to remember back in the day when there were always two different tire compounds... these "reds" from yesterday used to be the old "gumballs".
