I know. I thought cary would enjoy my "puke" emoji...

Edited to add: He got a lot better as the season went on and he dialed the volume back a little. Out of the entire season I liked Harvick (Fox telecasts) the best of anybody on TV.
As a Harvick fan, I approve. lol

We had this conversation last season. I thought Harvick was really, really good once he hit his groove about the middle of Fox' season (remember, he was brand new at this when he started)... objectively (IMO), I actually liked him better than both Gordon and Earnhardt in that role. Like I said, really, really good (and you know I'm a #24 guy ).

Kind of cool, but I wouldn't expect him to do much...

Juan Pablo was the only one I ever remember transferring and actually being competitive... yeah, Andretti and Foyt in selective races when they were young - but in inferior equipment, this probably won't get too exciting...

Glad for him though. Big Bucket List Item I'm sure.

Big news. I like seeing other drivers from different forms of racing come and race in NASCAR.

Agree, all this does is give Chevy another drafting partner.

Yep that sucks. Even though I'm not a west coast guy, still hate to see these tracks go away. They are "supposed" to build a short track at the site but I wonder if that ever happens at all. With land at a premium out there, wouldn't be surprised to see that pushed to the wayside and more warehouses built instead.

Agree with you, not sure that a new track is ever built.

They say, ( NASCAR ) a mix between Martinsville and Bristol. So I believe a half mile hybrid between those two tracks.

That would not surprise me at all. Heck, Ben Kennedy said, the price to build right now is too high.

NASCAR doesn't need another 1/2 mile track anyway...

Not with this current setup. NASCAR has some work still left to do. Right now, the 1.5's are the best racing. jmo

I agree, love watching late models on the 1/2 mile tracks but not the Cup cars.

I'd like to see a 1 1/2 mile track, in an oval, with banking like the updated Atlanta track.

There was talk at one time about Texas Motor Speedway doing that. Not sure what came of that?

Other than Daytona, Talladega and Indianapolis, that was my favorite track this past year by far... was decidedly better racing than Vegas even.

Agree! Now, all we need is for Diffey to call the race.

One of my favorite things to do, is sit at a short track in the summer with a cooler of beer and watching late mods run.

Yes it is. I guess Prime is going to fill the spots that Hooters had? Big get for HMS.
