sorry, I wasn't specifically commenting about you Storm, it was just a general comment from me. My apologies if you thought I was accusing you of something, that wasn't my intent.
Fair enough.

Do you feel confident enough in our neutral and unbiased mainstream media to feel that we will ever be told exactly what occurred there at the Pelosi SF residence the other night? Do you feel that a house in that type of neighborhood and of its value has a security system? Do you think that anything will ever get released from it? Or if the report comes back that it had been previously turned off prior to this event happening? Would that be a red flag?

I don't know exactly what happened there the other night. What I do know, is only what the police have said publicly thus far... and that was, well... weird.

I agree it is weird but so are most crimes that involve people who appear to have a diminished mental capacity. No I don't believe the mainstream media. I posted an article earlier which I tend to believe in that this guy wasn't influenced at all by the MAGA movement.

I think the truth will come out in court filings, whether the mainstream media chooses to report it or not I don't really care honestly. I still do not understand this need to want to change the mainstream media. They are losing viewers and readers daily, they are not profitable. Eventually they will change because they have to to exist.


I think it's very gross that the immediate response is to garner some sort of political point. I'd rather just treat the man like a human Brit who was just attack with a hammer regardless of the circumstances

so my best guess in the Republicans win the house.

I think it could go either way in the senate. From what I read is these are close states:

Current party in (X)
Nevada (D), Georiga (D) Arizona (D), NH (D)
Pennsylvania (R), NC (R), Ohio (R), Wisconsin (R)

Could be others.

Dems need at least 4 of those, Repubs need at least 5 of those (assuming no other flips

Former Brazilian President Lula of Workers' Party DEFEATS incumbent President Bolsonaro to become President of Brazil after results of second round of general elections announced by Supreme Electoral Court, with 98.86 % of the votes counted, Lula won 50.83% while his competitor Bolsonaro won 49.17% of the votes.

As Joe Hoft at The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, the Brazilian Presidential Election iresembled the 2020 Presidential Election in the US. The operation looks like what we referred to at the time as the Drop and Roll.
The Sunday Brazilian election looked a lot like the 2020 Election in the US, where conservatives cleaned house across the board in legislative and in governor races. Yet Bolsonaro somehow lost the presidency to a socialist tied to China. It did not make any sense in the US and it doesn't make sense in Brazil.

Brazil relies entirely on voting machines for their elections.
Steve Bannon interviewed Mathew Tyrmand on the Brazil election. Here are some excerpts from their discussion.
  • Bolsonaro's party dominated the election. The conservative parties, will dominate the lower House in Brazil.
  • Bolsonaro was winning the election up to a certain point and then every ballot drop was won by the socialist candidate. "The math doesn't make sense at all," said Mathew Tyrmand.
  • The Mainstream Media all "pounded in immediately" says Bannon to claim the win for the socialist.
  • "There's been no transparency. There's been censorship. There's been arrests of the opposition. There's been penalization from the court to Bolsonaro's party," said Tyrmand.
The election in Brazil looks a lot like the US election of 2020.

Be nice if someone was watching.

This country, and all countries, need to remove all electronic voting machines, require ID and have all counts concluded by 10pm local time. It can happen and that's the only way you rid yourself of this constant call for cheating.

None of it is unreasonable.

PS - Pelosi's "intruder" was here in the country illegally as well. Overstayed his VISA. Sure would be nice if we had any border or immigration controls at all in this country. Maybe Paul and Nancy feel the same way now? Doubt it.

I'm ok with ID to vote. When I voted Monday I did have to verify my address. All done with a paper ballot. Seems most of the issues are coming from states that don't allow the counting of absentee ballots and early voting until Election Day. That's a state problem.

There's a multitude of problems with how it's currently done. Voter ID. Ballot harvesting. Drop boxes. Allowing non-citizens the ability to vote. Leaking water pipes if the wrong candidate is winning, etc...

Why is it the Dem run cities in swing states are always the ones "late to turn in vote tally?"

You should have 24 hours to turn in tallies. Anything after that is null/void.

We know damn well why those cities are always "finding" uncounted ballots after the polls have closed.

And so does everyone that has an IQ over 35. You just don't want to admit it.

Make election day a national holiday, things are closed down (like Thanksgiving) and it's on a Sunday and we all go to the polls using paper ballots. Polls close at 7pm and by 10pm we know the results.

Of course this will never happen as you severely cut the ability to cheat.

And if you've got a crooked person in the right spot in honestly probably 10 counties in the entire country, you can make any election turn out the way you wanted it to. Those same 10 counties routinely have issues counting and need extra time. Crazy how places that aren't toss-ups can easily get theirs counted, whether a blue NYC or a red Florida. Maricopa county, Cobb/Fulton county, Detroit, Milwaukee, etc. all seem to have big issues every vote, weird.

hokie, you make this comment all the time, but there are many mostly disinterested apolitical folks who still believe that mainstream media do journalism the old fashioned way of presenting unbiased facts. Unfortunately, there are millions being fooled by CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, PBS, etc. They do know that Fox presents a biased viewpoint but they will argue against statements claiming those mentioned above are partisan Democrat activists.
