What a glorious show, lovin' it here. You're used to things being well scripted.......you'll get over it.
I was speaking more towards Kevin McCarthy. Not a big fan.

Frank Gaffney just gave the "signal" for whats going on with this Speaker vote:

The elites, in both party's, including the Whitehouse are concerned about these 20. They are most concerned about the investigations that each of these people will do. Not about any of the usual topics (Hunter Biden, etc...); rather, about the money in the system, from China.

Gaffney said that these investigations will blow up the system, like we've never seen. This will show the infiltration of this money at the highest level of both parties.

If you don't follow Frank Gaffney, you should...

So Trump is supposed to be the anti-establishment type and here he is all in on McCarthy which the conservatives/ non establishment types are blocking right? Why do people still follow or care what Trump thinks at this point? It's pretty clear there is no leader in the GOP. They had a golden opportunity to take control of the country in 2022 and will have another in 2024 and they are well on their way to blowing it.
Alum, did you vote for Trump or Biden?
Trump twice. Was all in in 2016. Was still on board in 2020 but not as excited. Never thought in a million years the Dem ploy would work in 2020 but thanks to Covid it did. A vegetable got elected over Trump. I was pretty much done after that. His ranting and raving and all the drama with it no longer was worth the good things that were done. And it became clear to me that you can't change our soulless corrupt gov't with one person or one administration. The world is heading in one direction all together. Covid taught me that corrupt people in power collaborate from all over the world.

I hate the democrat party. I can't stand their playbook. But the GOP is just stupid and basically does nothing other than talk in hyperbolic platitudes. Each year debt grows, gov't grows, taxes get more unfair, socialism nutjobs and cancel culture continue, and on and on. I pay more attention to local community things and economics in general now vs. politics.

Alum, so much in your post, I support...

For me, this 20-21 people group is calling into question exactly what your second paragraph states. 20 years ago, I started questioning the Wall Street class and the value they really bring to our country. Stock traders getting rich, off our money. That ultimately led to me looking into political figures. Well, the same thing was going on.

This country is in such a bad place that it makes it sad. I applaud the group of 20 and wish the group of 201 would see things the same way. The question is: why not? My suspicion is, MONEY!

I think we're all better off if we stop believing in government and start doing things for ourselves to survive and maybe thrive. Everything in DC and in politics is about money.... everything. Geopolitics is no different. Things get resolved internationally over wealth transfers and enrichments.

Here is a list of my FAV Congressmen/women:
[ol]
  • Rep. Andy Biggs
  • Rep. Dan Bishop
  • Rep. Lauren Boebert
  • Rep. Josh Brecheen
  • Rep. Michael Cloud
  • Rep. Andrew Clyde
  • Rep. Eli Crane
  • Rep. Matt Gaetz
  • Rep. Bob Good
  • Rep. Paul Gosar
  • Rep. Andy Harris
  • Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
  • Rep. Mary Miller
  • Rep. Ralph Norman
  • Rep. Andy Ogles
  • Rep. Scott Perry
  • Rep. Matt Rosendale
  • Rep. Chip Roy
  • Rep. Keith Self
  • Rep. Byron Donald
  • Rep. Jim Jordan
  • Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green
  • Rep. Louis Gohmert
  • [/ol]I favor Andy Biggs or Louis Gohmert for Speaker. I prefer Jim Jordan as chairman of committees investigating corruption and J6 in particular. There's a good chance the RINOs join with Dems to elect a Speaker of the House amongst themselves so there isn't a real investigation.

    Matt Gaetz for Majority Whip.

    Here's what might happen:

The Congress does another vote late tonight. Some Dems will leave. All they need is three to not show up.

The final six will hold the line; however, the number McCarthy will need is 216. He currently has 214 with two Republicans that have been out of town. The two show up tonight and McCarthy will get elected!

Personally, I prefer Dimms and RINOs to remain in charge. We are headed to a cataclysmic outcome in the coming months. Too many people remain asleep or disinterested and I think this group will need to be pushed further and further into a painful experience before this ****show is rectified. Quite frankly, modern-day American people don't deserve their freedom as they continue to demonstrate little appreciation for it. We need not only a finger burned but we need some serious 3rd degree burns and then maybe we start paying attention and engaging.

Allow the criminals to remain in charge. Dimms on the Senate side and RINOs on the House side.

The real threat to the future of our country are the people (apparently, the majority) who have not been properly informed about what's really going on, and therefore are making bad decisions.

Just read about the history of the house rules, then understand what been happening for too long. Once you have clarity, you should be applauding the action of this embarrassment!!

I didn't see it as an embarrassment at all... who care's if it wasn't easy? It's done, and nobody should be upset that it went through an actual process instead of just getting rubber stamped and pushed on through... it worked out the way that I originally thought that it would, and now that I have watched this in real time, the way that I now realize was the best end result for the immediate national future of the Republican party.

The real embarrassment is having now had the unfortunate first-hand experience of what the democrats will immediately do to our country if they ever have control of both sides of the legislative branch and the executive branch at the same time.

THREAD: Here are some of the concessions & promises that have been agreed to over the course of the speaker negotiations:

Anyone can call for a vote to oust speaker
McCarthy leadership PAC won't play in safe open primaries
Debt ceiling hike must be paired with spending cuts

More Freedom Caucus members on committees, including House Rules
Cap discretionary spending at fiscal 2022 levels, which would amount to lower levels for defense & domestic programs
Create investigative committee to probe the "weaponization" of the federal government

Hold votes on key conservative bills, including balanced budget amendment, congressional term limits, border security
Move 12 appropriations bill individually, not in an omnibus
Give members ability to offer more amendments on the House floor

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) bangs the Speaker's gavel for the first time after being elected the next Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives in a late night 15th round of voting on the fourth day of the 118th Congress at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, U.S., January 7, 2023.

    A Q post on 01 07 2018.

    There are no coincidences.

It's right in front of ya

    Blueprint:
Law of War Manual - June 12, 2015.
    DJT Escalator - June 16, 2015.
    Military Justice Act - 2016.
    Federal Continuity Plan 1 - January 17, 2017.
    Federal Continuity Plan 2 - June 13, 2017
9 National Emergencies declared from 2017 to March 2020; 7 via Executive Orders; unaddressed by Congress (bc that's the Military Operation and COG plan)

Biden has extended every single EO with National Emergencies and National Guard.

He's never mentioned Space Force from his mouth; Space Force has never mentioned Biden in an article with Space Force dot Mil or any article.

The Army and Navy transferred ALL communications to the Space Force under ONE command.
