Seeing Rubio running behind 4% in Fla surprises me. Little ways to go but I'm starting to feel the dems will keep the senate.
Mods feel free to delete if there's a similar thread, I didn't see anything.

How about we just start slow and go with preparing an actual budget instead of continuing resolutions. Cut all departments budgets by 5%. This of course is predicated upon the GOP winning the Senate, which isn't going to happen thanks to some weak candidates.caryking said:
This is going to be for hokie and chem…
We really need for these MAGA candidates to win, in the primaries, as they appear to be doing, in good numbers. Then we need for them to win their November election.
After that, I hope they don't get swamped up by the machine; rather, they help change this Federal Government around. So, they could have a platform to do the following:
- Create legislation that provides more free market ideas (one caveat - next point)
- Create legislation that puts an emphasis on free market within our borders
- Investigate the Administrative State and start to defund significant portions of multiple Federal Government Departments
In summary, simplify the Federal Government and push this thing we have: the 10th amendment!!
And that's a bell weather. The GOP is fired up. Could they have picked better candidates? Sure. Will they trounce the lefties in the House. Damn right. The Senate, as always, is up for grabs.wolf howl said:
Liz Chaney losing by 30+ points last night warms my heart. I had predicted a 40 point beat down so a little upset it wasn't worse for her but the end result is the same. As worthless as her dad.

its not enough! Don't believe the polls. The same people controlling the media control the polls and factor checkers like Snopes.jkpackfan said:

I guess teaching kids there are 147 different genders, promoting drag queens in the classroom doesn't really appeal to the "rubes" in Miami.
Funny how that works....
The "powers that be" will either steal the majority of the 2022 election races or they will create a crisis to avoid having them. I've heard it said and seen it written; 'the military is the only way".BBW12OG said:

You know when the media pundits are downplaying it and turning back to abortion as the driving factor on mid-terms it isn't looking good.
Now... add in the $10k voter purchasing act that Sleepy Joe all of a sudden is on board with reeks of "desperate times call for desperate measures..."
Another MARXIST policy that will blow up in their faces...
For that to happen, there'd need to be a coup within the military itself from the lower ranks, I'm not sure the military from my day exists any more.Werewolf said:The "powers that be" will either steal the majority of the 2022 election races or they will create a crisis to avoid having them. We will see. I continue to believe Q and I also believe in devolution. Of course both could be a psyop too and I would then turn out to be wrong. Hitler had an operation similar to Q and it was the Nazi way to keep those that might resist pacified to give them time to cement power.Oldsouljer said:For that to happen, there'd need to be a coup within the military itself from the lower ranks, I'm not sure the military from my day exists any more.Werewolf said:The "powers that be" will either steal the majority of the 2022 election races or they will create a crisis to avoid having them. Nothing to see here. You're still just a "crazy conspiracy theorist" if you point out the obvious fact that modern Leftist movements, including the Democrat party, are ideologically rooted in Marxism, and now openly advocating socialism/communism.BBW12OG said:

Everyone knows where Trump stands, whether you like him or not. I wish my fellow conservatives would realize that the Republican Party, as it exist today, is "NOT" conservative!jkpackfan said:

Trump is somewhat of a messenger, but he's been much more of a "indicator strip". Stick the "indicator strip" in the liquid and see what color it turns. Why was he attacked so feverishly when he announced? Why did the attacks continue so vigorously? Why the doomsday predictions when he announced? It was a prognosis of doomsday across the media and across Hollywood. We learn the FBI and CIA colluded to frame him with Russia Russia Russa... So this guy shows up to "the party" and is vilified.... Recall back in the 80s and 90s Trump was a darling of the media and elite. Now he's a villian.caryking said:Everyone knows where Trump stands, whether you like him or not. We need a big change! That change existed in Trump, even with all his flaws. I would love to see how a Disantes would be, on a National level; however, he takes a lot of money from big Republican donors and would he be bought and paid for by them? I don't know the answer to that; so, for now, I'm sticking with Trump.
Regarding Civ's illegal voting activities, well… if Nicki Haley becomes the Republican nominee, I will refuse to vote in the presidential election. As far as I'm concerned, she was the beginning of cancel culture, when she took down the flag in South Carolina.
Regardless of your opinion, on that flag, that action was the beginning of the whole mess we have had since then. She could have stayed clear on the subject when the shooting happenmuch ed in Charleston.
Trump continues to demonstrate that he's all about himself. He has no desire to help push the more conservative option in these senate races. He's sitting on an absolute war chest of money that he is using to pay for lawyers and his cronies. His grift of the rubes who think he's the savior of the nation continues and it is hurting the actual candidates that have the ability to help Republicans take the Senate and a larger chunk of the house.jkpackfan said:

He truly is hurting a lot more than he's helping, yet the rubes continue to support him unconditionally and he can do no wrong.
