My feeling reading the initial statement from the Wallace folks is that he's probably looking to make a move. RPM may certainly want him back, but their press release seems like standard material when silly season gets started.Wolfer79 said:

The green flag for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire is scheduled to wave at 3:18 p.m. ET, assuming there are no rain delays as there have been so often since NASCAR returned to live racing in May.
Though NASCAR will have plenty of time to get the race in with the sun not setting in Loudon until shortly after 8 p.m. ET, the relatively late start time for an afternoon race is notable because New Hampshire Motor Speedway does not have lights.

During pre-race inspection, the No. 32 Ford of Corey LaJoie and the No. 43 Chevrolet of Bubba Wallace were found to have improperly mounted ballast.
The crew chiefs of both teams Ryan Sparks for LaJoie and Jerry Baxter for Wallace have been suspended from today's race. Both cars have also lost their respective starting position and will begin the race from the rear of the field.
Wallace was slated to start 15th through the random draw and LaJoie 33rd.
Each team has also been issued 10-point owner and driver penalties.
NASCAR will issue an official penalty report next week.
The No. 3 Chevrolet of Austin Dillon will go to the rear of the field at the start for unapproved adjustments.

Andrew Murstein says that RPM has another new sponsorship it is about to announce, and he's hoping this run of deals will help convince @BubbaWallace to renew.

Lots of news coming out today, surprised about the change at CGR...sad to see LFR go...the model needs changing. Also, makes me think of TRD and JGR.

Funny how Richard and Kyle (correctly) said Danica was no race car driver, and if she was a man she wouldn't have a ride....and then he is offering a guy who is basically the male Danica more money?
New owners are good folks. I don't fault Leavine...but he made a deal with the devil. I swear for all the love Coach gets if people knew the half of it....

Why? It's kinda easy they don't have the money that CGR can offer...I don't like it either but it's their only option.

No baiting...just the image portrayed doesn't often match up with the actions behind the scenes. I won't go into a list of the ones i know about and some may call it shrewd or just business...but I've dealt with every major owner in the garage...and the ones that aren't there anymore...and those are just my thoughts about that one. But more importantly...guys who bought it are great and I'm pulling for em.

Now they have pretty much that exact driver working for them, that's all. It's kind of funny how that works.
Maybe he should hire Danica out of retirement. THAT would be some publicity
I was at the Bristol race and I'm on the fence about it. Didn't seem to add much. Seemed like less drama on re starts since everyone got their lane?.
