Serrano seems to be pretty athletic and could cover a lot of ground with his long strides.
From an offensive standpoint, I really hope so.

We typically have someone in CF who can really go get a baseball in the gaps. Nolan, Brown, McDonough, McClain etc. Serrano proved he can run well last year. I'd like to see it.

Seems like a really good pickup. I would think that's a pretty tough league down in Florida. Looks like he played 3rd in hs. Not ranked in the top 500 but listed as one to follow in hs.

Do we know if hes a switch-hitter? PG has him as a lefty (and there's a pic to go with it) while Santa Fe has him as hitting right handed. I guess the JUCO website might just be wrong?

EDIT: Looks like he only bats lefty. Also looks like he played a bunch of CF for Winchester this summer. Could be an option if Serrano doesn't work out there defensively.

He's a lefty. There is a twitter video where he is hitting from the left side against a LHP.

This dude reminds me of Jonny Butler- JUCO kid (assuming both to being lightly recruited based on PG), good/similar juco stats, left handed swing, good speed/power combo, similar size, left fielder. I know its a reach, but a lot of similarities there

Josh Hogue can flat out rake.

He was in the top 10 in hitting of Region 8 which is a badass Florida JUCO baseball region. The NJCAA National Champion (College of Central Florida) came from this region (and the same conference as well).

Hogue being from Palm Beach and playing in this Region for a year has played against some legit competition over the years.

Plus any kid that Hart lands, I have blind faith in them being able to swing the bat very well. Hart just continues to land dudes.

That is worrisome. We are already experimenting to an extent with Serrano in cf. Now going to put someone who has never started D-1 at ss and put them straight into the ACC fire?

Dont understand why this isnt a clear portal add.

Falsken is in the portal I believe and Heavner isn't a D1 SS, IMO.

Payton Green could play SS but he wasn't very good at it.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. I've got a good 8,000+ games played under my belt and I still have eligibility. I just don't have good knees or a back at this point.

He is technically still in the portal but got it from a pretty good source he is going to withdraw from the portal at some point and come back
