Talent is everywhere in baseball. There are plenty of guys drafted every year from D2/D3/JUCO's that end up making the show. Most of the time, if you are good enough to be drafted, you are an ACC/Power 5 caliber player. Most of those guys are lacking either height, velo, speed or just one or two things most D1 coaches are looking for.FLWolf said:

I for one thought LSU may of had too much talent and not enough role players-they made it happen
My best friend growing up went to Catawba, had a great career and ended up being drafted and played pro ball for a couple of years. He won 25 consecutive games in HS but was only 5'11 and throwing 86-87 as Sr. By the time he left Catawba he was throwing 93-94 with a plus curve and change up. I think his best offer was Western Carolina right before college was about to start but he held off and stayed with Catawba because they offered more money.
The biggest problem is finding the guys most of the time.
