Needs going forward-

Still think we need 1-2 more on the infield, and 1-2 more OF for depth (depending on who comes back). Preferably 2-3 arms, with atleast 1 that can come and compete for a weekend spot.

Any thoughts? It is getting a little crowded, and of course 2-3 freshmen will come in and ball out, like every year.

'ol boy can mash and coincidentally he went to the same HS as Austin Murr up in Minnesota. I think they are about 2 years apart.

He was 87-91 in HS, a little over a year ago. Gotta assume there's more in the tank if he focuses only on baseball with his frame

Because Cranford is not a large school, Dennis McCaffery, the record setting CHS baseball coach, encourages the baseball players to play other sports. I've always supported that philosophy.

per South Carolina mods, he is down to those 3. Wants to pitch in the SEC, but also knows he would have a better chance to start at ECU, hence their addition.

IMO, it's as good of a get as if this kid was at a JUCO.

I bet he's got a fresh arm too. Played a lot of football, is from up north where he couldn't play as much baseball as those every weekend travel ball types do in the south. ha
