That's what I figure as well. I can't find anything saying he's transferring and don't have access to D1 Baseball's portal tracker.

Yeah he was actually drafted last year and chose to return to UNCW. He'd technically have 1 year left.

i can say with confidence that the staff is pushing for hodges pretty decently. recently offered him more scholarship $$ than their initial offer. still wait and see

Probably depends on the draft but I would think they have a pretty decent idea of who is wanting to stay or go.

We need more pen arms from the portal. The guy from UNCW is the most important transfer possibility to me.

Maybe one more ss prospect needed? This squad looks pretty good to me:

4 IF from this group of 5: Trice/Groover/Zayas/Falksen/Green
4 OF/DH from this group of 6: Soles/Dom P/Marcy/Gupton/Serrano/Nixon

I'd probably go for 1 Infielder (Montiel?), 1 Outfielder, and 3 Pitchers from the portal. Then we don't really need to worry about the draft either way.
