NC State's Soles turned in three multi-hit outings to lead the Wolfpack in a series win at Clemson, going 8-for-11 with seven RBI. The Thomasville, North Carolina, sophomore hit two home runs in the three-game set against the Tigers after hitting the first of his collegiate career just one week earlier against Georgia Tech.

In a 5-2 win on Saturday to even the series, Soles had a hand in all five NC State runs scored as he tallied a career-high four RBI. In the rubber game on Sunday, he started the Wolfpack's scoring with a home run in the second inning and added two more base hits in the seventh and ninth innings that eventually led to runs scored.

The way I see it, we SHOULD beat BC and Duke. UNC and Wake are toss ups (nice both are at home) and Louisville will be a tough series.

15 games, I really think 10-5 is possible but stretching it (assuming health), but 9-6 is more probable. Would love to start with a sweep.

I've missed the last few starts to series. What's the plan with Highfill? He still hurt I'm assuming? Week to week or have they even said anything?
