Aaron Fitt posted his fall report today, if you're into that sort of thing.
Not a ton of takeaways but here's what I had:
Cozart is the catcher
Green seems to have inside track to playing short
Center is an unknown, seems they are relying on Pilolli to be that guy (risky IMO)
Tommy White: stud
Not reading into anything about the pitching. Glad Willadsen and Highfill didn't throw

In my opinion on the Outfield spots D.Pilolli13 LF and Soles2/Brown3 CF/RF

why would you not read anything into the pitching? some good insight on who the coaches will likely trust early in the year. also the velo/secondary pitch updates are niceEthanBarry said:

Yeah you can look at some of that stuff. Just think it's the top 3 guys and then a bunch of decent arms. Some will emerge and some won't. Chrysler has been awesome so I'm sure they'll be fine
I take it that Matt and Sam didn't throw because they had a high season pitch counts? Especially Sam whom threw for team USA. Matt went to a specialist and worked on pitches over the summer.

Correct. Highfill focused on pylo ball work as well as arm path things and willadsen went to a specialist and has added about 3 mph to his fastball

Willadsen going out to the west coast to the pitching lab is a great thing IMO. Love the stuff that place has produced for guys

Met with a WPC rep this morning. Improvements are coming and will be phased in 3 phases. Not 3 years. Former players are stepping up to help. As with wrestling there is going to be a direct link to donate to individual sports. Silent fundraising part is complete or almost complete for phase 1. Avent has insisted that there be no disruption in play at Doak. Expect phase 1 to start after the upcoming season

Does Lou and Diane Pavlovich handle this by themselves? Looks like it's just the two of them.
Top 20ish sounds about right to me. We did lose a poop ton of talent.

Figure this'll be a slow starting team as the new guys get settled and lineup is figured out and Willadsen/Highfill ramp up. Don't know how they compare to the rest of the country talent wise
Agreed. Don't forget about Villaman who might have the most upside of anyone on the roster and best pure stuff on the pitching staff.EthanBarry said:

Genuinely asking not trying to blame anyone -- is there a reason less than 50 days before start of season we haven't released the schedule?
The ACC schedule was released at the end of January last year and the non-conference schedule was released in early February.castlewood107 said:
