Thats my fear with the Daytona 500, im 30 and ive never been to it, my dad went in the 90's and we have talked about us two going for the weekend but that Florida weather is unpredicatable.

The last race I went to was at Daytona... it was the Firecracker 400, or whatever it's called today. Dale Jr. won with Austin Dillion wrecking across the finish line. That race didn't start until about midnight. Rain was miserable; however, Daytona has some good food below the stands.

My daughter and I went and had a nice time together, even though it was a late night!

I literally talked the weather into raining lol. I was joking with my buddy as they were about to go green that I was feeling rain drops, then he said he also felt them, then I started feeling real rain drops, within 5 min track was wet.

oh and I went to Daytona in 2014, rained all day, finally got it in at night. Dega needs lights. Indy needs lights. Every daggum track on the cup schedule needs lights or can find their self off the Cup schedule until they do.

Yep. And given the fact that Harvick is out of championship contention, all races from here on out between them, especially Martinsville, will be fun to watch.

Yesterday was great. Sucks my driver didn't make the cut but the racing this year is great!

I remember when Kezelowski purposefully took Gordon out of the Final 4 to get himself in. Never have liked that ***** ever since then. The problem here is that Harvick is already out (and we've all watched the replay where Earnhardt, Jr. points out where Harvick gets back into the throttle).

Harvick ended up wrecking himself on Sunday. He needs to stay out of puss mode for the rest of the season. He's famous for this stuff.

Harvick is a puss. He pisses me off how he gets out and argues with other drivers while wearing his helmet.

I'm a Harvick guy, but I do understand NASCAR's position, there is no need to cause a issue for another driver not involved. If the 4 and 9 wanna fight on pit road go for it, but no need to cause issues for other drivers. What will be interesting to see is how the sanctioning body handles the 4 if he holds the 9 up…ie like Bristol….we were told that's racing "a line".
