So you mean to tell me that the most prestigious race in NASCAR other than the Daytona 500 has been scrapped and instead they are going to run it on the road course? What complete dumbasses... pure stupidity!

I was sooooo looking forward to watching the 400 this afternoon, and now I kind of doubt that I will even decide to watch.
More road courses are fine, but not every other race and certainly not in place of the Brickyard. For some reason (not paying good enough attention I guess), I thought the road course was only going to be for the Infinity race.
Majorly disappointed doesn't even begin to describe it right now for me.
It is great to see @joeylogano climb from his car following this incident. pic.twitter.com/ebMYe4qI28

In the 3 of the last 4 Cup Series races

- The track came up at Atlanta
- They raced in the rain on an oval
- The curbing broke and wrecked at least 11 cars at Indy

Yeah, that switchover at the end was weird. I had not been watching, frankly, had no idea it started earlier...until one of my kids texted about how it was winding down.MayorStoner said:
ratings are gonna be a s***show for Indy. In the Carolinas most the NBC stations were showing a freaking exhibition preseason football game instead of the Cup series race. Only way to tune in was online unless you got one of those weird tvs that shows channel 10.2 or whatever it is in ur area for those strange extra channels.
and then they cut to golf with 2 laps to go. Amateur golf at that.
NBC sucks.

This year's race, which started hours earlier than 2020 Brickyard 400, was still the highest-rated sport event of the weekend. https://t.co/wmJKJls9bu

Worth noting that while ratings for Sunday's race were down double-digits, the share (percentage of households viewing out of the number of homes using TVs) was down only 4%. HUT levels Sunday were down 30% from last year's race date.

Thank you for the kind words. Remember it like it was yesterday. Dale was so emotional in VL as he looked into camera and spoke to his family. How about the irony of having to outrun the 28 car to get that victory. Rarely saw a Robert Yates car/engine lose a drag race to the flag https://t.co/TYdOzpI1XL
