You always have to remember that a lot of these polls are trying to shape public opinion and not reflect public opinion. They do this by under sampling Republicans or sampling in moderate Republican districts and not in the center of the country. I can see a Trump landslide or a very close election where either one wins. No way there is a Biden landslide in my opinion in a "Fair" election. Big Tech is going to try and influence and steal the election for the left.
If what you are saying is true regarding bad polling, you'd see a consistent partisan bias in polls.
Except, you don't.
Go back to the late 60's and look for polls consistently leaning left. You won't find them. Polling is too far left some years and too far right others.
Also, it's weird to me that in these extremely partisan times, with a president with historic unfavorable ratings, that the right keeps saying Trump won't lose "fairly".
Lots of people hate Trump man, that's not fake news. And if they turn out, Trump will lose, and could lose big.
We all need to hope he either wins or loses big. I'm already hating everything that will flow from a close election, in either direction.
According to Gallup on 9/30/2012 Obama's job approval numbers were at 48% and on 9/30/2020 Trump's job approval numbers were at 46% so i'm not sure where you are getting this historical unfavorable ratings....he is only 2% points off of where Obama was at this time in his presidentcy.
George H. W. Bush had a 33%
Jimmy Carter was down at 37%
Lyndon Johnson was at 43%
Harry Truman was at 32%
As of yesterday Trump had a 51% approval rating...if this holds true through next month he won't lose the election
Obama was at 48%
George W. Bush was at 50%
Trump has a very fervent base who loves him. His problem is he's alienated swing voters and energized the democratic base as much as his own.
That's what they said last time.
Now people like me that didn't vote for him last time are voting for him this time. An
We will know in 3 weeks which shift has higher numbers, but right now the available data points more towards voters leaving the president.
I don't believe there is a single "true" third party voter voting for Biden. Well, those that claim to be Libertarian at least. Biden and today's left is the furthest thing from libertarianism. A Libertarian voting for Biden is nothing but a Democrat embarrassed to admit it.
Libertarians value individual freedoms. Biden does not.
