If all of these polls showing Biden ahead turn out to be wrong (which I seriously doubt) then there are gonna be a lot of people looking for new careers. Just don't see this being a repeat of last year.
Jack Posobiec of OANN said yesterday or Saturday that all the Biden campaign people were putting out their resumes in DC. Poso is very well connected. Why would they be doing that if he was going to win?
Maybe because the election is almost here and after that they'll need new jobs?
They would be having jobs in the White House or some part of the Administration if Biden were to win. I will see if I can find the tweet.

A few predictions and thoughts.

I think Trump wins this election. I played around with some scenarios on 270towin about a month ago and felt confident about a Trump victory. I've felt strongly that Florida, Arizona and North Carolina would eventually move solid for Trump. I wasn't as bullish on the Midwestern states then, but I like the trends in those states in the past couple of weeks. I think Trump wins the needed combination of electoral votes from Michigan, Wisconsin and/or Pennsylvania to push him past 270 electoral votes needed to win the election.

I haven't been as confident in the GOP holding the Senate, but I think they manage to retain control as well. I think Tillis, McSalley and Ernst all win. The two Georgia races eventually go GOP. Collins and possibly Gardner in Colorado lose. Upset pick in the Senate is John James of Michigan. When the dust settles it's still 53-47 GOP.

The House is always difficult to predict, but I'm going GOP there as well. I think the left has put a lot of moderate House democrats members in jeopardy.

A few things I'll be watching as the votes come in.

Percentage of the black vote for Trump.

Percentage of Hispanic/Latino vote for Trump.

Percentage of the youth vote for Trump.

Do those numbers improve enough to make up for possible defections in the elderly vote and the pearl clutching suburbanites who believe Orange Man is really bad?

If my predictions are correct then I think these four factors will turn out to have been fatal self inflicted wounds to Biden and the democrats.

Defunding the police.

Raising taxes.

Transitioning away from fossil fuels.

Over playing Covid. This should have been a layup for democrats. Way overboard with blame and becoming the party of future lockdowns is insane.

These four policy positions will not play well with the broader democrat party much less most of the electorate.

All good points. I think the Black and Latino vote for Trump are going to shock the Democrats. If those two demographics show up and vote Republican down the ticket, then you could be right about taking back the House and holding the Senate.

Freedom, Liberty, and the Constitution are on the ballot today. If you believe in those things then you must push back against these socialists and Marxists. Your Republic as we know it is at stake. I did not vote for Donald Trump 4 years ago(couldn't vote for the Hildabeast either) but he has already gotten my vote. I never have early voted before until this year. Get out and vote and GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

Absolutely not. I don't know who those 2 posters are you are referring to, but it doesn't matter. That would be censorship and suppression of their freedom of speech. I don't see anyone breaking any rules in this thread. And if it "pains" you so much to read anyone's posts, you simply do not have to click on the thread. Or you can put them on "ignore", as you have. Don't be like the flaming authoritarians on the Left (eg, Big Tech, Marxist-run universities), who are doing everything they can to suppress and silence the speech of conservatives.

How would YOU like to be confined to only being able to post in just one thread? And what possible justification are you giving for advocating that? That YOU just happen to strongly disagree with their opinion? So anyone you disagree with deserves to have their freedom of speech taken away?

There's no freedom of speech that applies on a privately-owned message board.

I posted this on the election thread as well. Seems to me there would only be one reason that a poll watcher wasn't allowed in.....

I didn't say there was a legal issue. Of course a privately-owned message board can censor whoever they want.

But the PRINCIPLE of freedom of speech is still involved. If a private message board is going to censor peoples' speech on an ideological basis (not allowing certain viewpoints) when it holds itself out as a public forum for all views, then the people who run that message board do not believe in the principle of freedom of speech.

Are you advocating that certain political or ideological viewpoints should not be allowed to be expressed here?

Twitter, Facebook, et al won't allow anybody to declare victory unless it's confirmed by several "reliable" new services, but Biden can address the nation as the presumed winner....This plan has been in place by the Transition Integrity Project. It's going to be a long night and there is going to be trouble.

The internal numbers look good for Trump. They have him possibly winning 312 Electoral College votes with all the states. You should look at the map if you can.

There are already shenanigans going on in Philly and other parts of PA Not letting poll workers in. They are above in the thread.

Listening to Glenn Beck right now and they are talking about unrest tonight and how the media might declare Biden the winner before the votes are in. Talking about the resistance that will happen if Trump wins. It's going to be a long couple of weeks unfortunately.

The media cant declare "Biden the winner" because Florida is going to be called for Trump fairly early imho.

Exactly why are the Trump or even biden internal numbers always so different then then the other numbers? Please don't say because the media hayes everyone or whatever and no, that's not a shot at you. I just know someone will respond to that. I am seriously asking why internals are always so different.

I would think they are more on the ground getting those numbers. Not just calling people on their phones but the organization to get out the vote and things like that. Actually talking to people face to face. They also look for trends and things too. Both parties do that. If you remember, the Dem internal polls last week were saying that the election is much closer than was being shown in the national polls. If Biden had a big lead, he wouldn't have shown up in Wisconsin, Michigan, or PA.

Thank you for a thoughtful and productive response. Makes sense when you say it that way. I do recall and I think I am correct, that in 2016, the Trump internal polls showed him actually winning the election.

I would be really interested to see Biden's internal numbers. I wonder if his numbers are close to what Trump's internal numbers are.

I think the difference in the numbers is due to the people weighing things differently. The republicans are looking at a set of number and weighing it heavily on certain factors and the democrats weighing on different factors.

On a personal note.....i do believe that Biden's internal numbers are close to Trump's because of where Biden was campaigning at. If Biden's campaign believed that he was as far ahead as all of the numbers that we have seen say he wouldn't be in Wisconsin or Michigan with Obama campaigning...he would be in places like Georgia....
