Looks like NASCAR made a good decision by making Nashville a night race. Heat index in the Nashville area is 100 today. Hopefully the severe weather will stay away. Looking forward to some good racing tonight.

It's different from a time standpoint. I'm looking forward to it as well.

Big time mistake by the 45 rear tire changer. May have even cost them a win. Reddick was running good tonight.

It seems there are more tire issues with the 1 lug than the 5 lug pattern. I don't like that change.

I loved it when they would say " Let's go down to Ned in the pits!"

I can still listen to Nascar on the radio and enjoy it just as much as watching it. Barney Hall was the best.

I thought the race picked up right before halfway and turned out pretty good. Ross was dominant on the long runs. Clean air was the key of the night. Blaney said the hit he took was the hardest of his career. Really looked bad on the replays. Glad he's ok. Truex and the 19 team continue to look like the team to beat. Next week in Chicago will be wild. The next 9 weeks should be fun.

^ Race was pretty good for sure. The 1 and 19 had probably the best cars. Also, the crowd looked great.

Lol.., I get you point but Daytona has had it share of rains days as well. And before I get beat up, yes I'd rather be there than Chicago. But hey, I get trying new things.

Its been since 2019 Nascar has been in Daytona July 4th weekend so I should just give up on that tradition I guess. I like new tracks and configurations myself and I hope we get to see some action this evening. Curious to see how it turns out.

I hope they don't do that again. That wasn't NASCAR to me. If I wanted to watch a street race I would have just watched a different series. NASCAR needs to just stay with what they know and what got them here.
