With Chase not making the playoffs, it will be interesting to me how he would of fared if he had been the last car to make it. He's been running better as of late.

No more Bristol Dirt racing!

I didn't realize rain would be an issue tonight smh. Xfinity race last night was solid. I'm hoping they can beat the rain.

Couple of delays but they got it in. Also, good crowd.
Which race did you prefer this past season? The dirt race - or this one? Just curious.Finley said:ncsupack1 said:Finley said:

Caught the last half. I noticed the attendance also. It's always cool to see the Bristol night race packed. There's nothing like that place.

Not sure who you are asking but give me concrete all day. I was not a fan of dirt .

It's too hard in general to keep up with week-to-week... best thing is to be mid-afternoon on a Sunday when those that don't follow all the details are channel surfing looking for the race to watch...ncsupack1 said:Wolfer79 said:

Night races just don't do great. Reason why they've been cut back.
The Southern 500 and Bristol are the only two I want. I agree that tv should put the races on Sunday afternoon around the same time each week, (which for the most part they do). For whatever reason night racing doesn't get the eyes, look at Richmond, night crowd did good, tv not so much, Sunday racing crowd not great but tv decent.TheStorm said:It's too hard in general to keep up with week-to-week... best thing is to be mid-afternoon on a Sunday when those that don't follow all the details are channel surfing looking for the race to watch...ncsupack1 said:Wolfer79 said:

Bristol's night race is one of the very, very few that should remain. But I'd rather not have a night race as part of The Chase, but maybe that's just me.
Coca-Cola 600 also.ncsupack1 said:The Southern 500 and Bristol are the only two I want. I like Daytona under the lights also.
They had too many night races stacked on top of one another towards the end of the regular season and now into The Chase with Bristol... if you are talking about moving it back to 4th of July weekend, then yes... if you are talking about when it was run this year, then no.ncsupack1 said:Finley said:

That is also a fun one to watch.
