Yep, rumors were floating about JHN before this happened. I wonder if this was a recent "like" or something that was dug up. Either way he's done and I'm not sure Legacy is sad about it.
Finley said:
You're correct, he hasn't made many friends out there. Last year at road america while driving for JRM, he hooked a dude purposely and took out like 13 cars once the dust settled. Then he gets popped in the face by Chastain earlier this season. He's got talent but known to be a hot head.

Inclement weather has affected 17 of NASCAR's 25 weekends in 2023.

The Clash, Las Vegas, Phoenix, COTA, Talladega, Kansas, Darlington & Sonoma weekends didn't have bad weather

You are bought in, hook, line, and sinker…. BTW, the only person that sees me as that guy, is you!! I think that says a lot about you, really…Packchem91 said:caryking said:It was a hit job! A hit job like Chem tries to do on me…PossumJenkins said:

If you don't want to be known as "that guy", then dont make and defend racist jokes. This is not difficult. At least not for people who aren't prone to make such comments.
This is 2020, not 1960. We all get judged by what we say (amd now what we even like that others say).
I'd like to see them only give points to the top 15. Create a system, similar to F1. Forget stage points!TheStorm said:
The other comment I'll make re: yesterday is that these new cars are getting knocked completely out of these races just way too easy... I hate the fact that they don't get a chance to work on these cars and at least get back on track and salvage points.

NBC coverage has absolutely sucked by the way.
First of all, I have to figure out what channel is USA Network (something that I never watch)... they absolutely struggled to have anything to talk about during the delays (this was way worse than any other race that I've watched)... then I turn the channel for 5 minutes, come back and some rerun like "JAG" (or some similar "filler" show) is on and no ticker showing the race has been cancelled, nada... I guess when you are on a "bush league" channel, you should expect "bush league" results.
Can't wait to see the ACC on the CW...

I didn't but glad to see it. Truex was wicked fast and could really close the gap but he needed that clean air. 2 road courses and Daytona to set the playoffs...the next 3 races should be fun.Packchem91 said:
Who had Chris Buescher going back-to-back?
Ironically, Christopher Bell backed into the wall today and still was able to battle back to 13th. Props to the 20 team for duct taping it up and salvaging a top 15 finish.Packchem91 said:TheStorm said:

Yeah wasn't too many years ago you'd hear about how important aerodynamics were, then watch Jimmy Johnson hit the wall and tear his fender 25 laps in. Then win the race.

Yeah, I actually don't... he hasn't been strong enough in any race that I've watched so far, that would believe me that he'll get in just because of a road race course.Packchem91 said:Finley said:I didn't but glad to see it. Difficult to imagine Elliot not winning any of the road races to qualify. I'm guessing he'll get one of these two

Gold always did the in track call whenever we would go to Talladega. And I love listening to him call a bama gameFinley said:
It still sounds strange to me when I hear Eli Gold calling Alabama games. That voice is always Nascar for me.

It was Tony Stewart's night at Eldora, winning both heat races and the main event last night.
Remember, he owns Eldora as well so a good showing for him.
