Agree 100%. SportsCenter called it the Daytona 530... 30 extra miles, what a damn joke.mdreid said:
since this is the new thread i only say it once, Overtime is BS and Stage Stoppages is BS
I also don't like that laps are being counted during stage stoppage…TheStorm said:Agree 100%. SportsCenter called it the Daytona 530... 30 extra miles, what a damn joke.mdreid said:

Xfinity and Cup practice and qualifying canceled. Lineups set by metric. Bell on pole for Cup; Austin Hill on pole for Xfinity. ... Still no decision yet on Xfinity race. Cup garage won't open today.

Yea, what may not have been a celebrated win, in the past… it is now! I've never liked or pulled for K. Busch; however, now that he's driving for RCR, I want him to do good…Glasswolf said:
Congratulations to Kyle "Rowdy" Busch and RCR for the win today!

Only saw the first two segments, but was enough to remind me why I'm ok with this track going away
Give him credit. Set the record with wins in 19 straight seasons.caryking said:Yea, what may not have been a celebrated win, in the past… it is now! I've never liked or pulled for K. Busch; however, now that he's driving for RCR, I want him to do good…Glasswolf said:

Kyle Busch set a #NASCAR record for consecutive seasons with a Cup Series wins at 19, breaking a tie with Richard Petty. His 61st victory also broke a tie with Kevin Harvick on the all-time wins list. He’s now alone in 9th. Dale Earnhardt is 8th with 76 wins. Analysis: He’s good. pic.twitter.com/4gkMUzn0Kt

No doubt he can drive. I spent several years in the pits with the drivers and teams in Rockingham. Attended Sunday morning church service in the garage with the pit crew members, families of drivers and teams and there was one common denominator. Drivers will police themselves.Glasswolf said:
Don't disagree with most of what you posted but Busch can drive a car. I've seen him crash without crashing. As some that has actively watched since 1967 he'd do ok. His attitude is as close to being off the rails as anyone. Joe Gibbs took him down several notches

In today's fluffed-up watered down version of NASCAR post-2001 he is good. He would have had his ass handed to him by a number of drivers back then and would have never made it on the circuit.
Him winning for the last 19 years tells you all you need to know about why NASCAR is on life support.

Kyle can drive a car. Also, NASCAR isn't on life support. It's competitive. Heck, Petty won a lot in his day with at times stealing from the poor with being sponsored and having his own engine builder. Not very impressive in winning by multiple laps.

I truly can't stand him. And know things about him that would make you hate him more than you do. But Kyle Busch is one of the most talented people to sit behind a wheel and to say he wouldn't have made it back then is inaccurate.
.@FoxTV got a 2.48 rating and 4.315 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway, down a tick from a 2.61 rating and 4.570 million viewers last year. pic.twitter.com/me60HtMlky

CORRECTION: NASCAR was most-watched program of the weekend with 4.315M, comfortably ahead of the 3.5M for Lakers/Mavericks (though the Lakers/Mavericks still won easily with adults 18-49). https://t.co/EwDYBsDENI
