EL PASO, Texas (KFOX) - A Texas middle school is banning students from wearing all-black clothing because school officials say it's associated with mental health issues.

Students at Charles Middle School in El Paso, Texas, headed back to school Monday, days after a letter from Principal Nick DeSantis outlined the school's new dress code policy. The letter says the school is eliminating all-black clothing because it is "associated with depression and mental health issues and/or criminality."

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WKRC) - A woman was stabbed 20 times, but the authorities ruled it a suicide. Years later, she's finally getting a second chance.

Ellen Greenberg was a 27-year-old first-grade teacher when she was found dead in her apartment with 20 stab wounds.

The medical examiner initially ruled the death a homicide due to the number and location of the stab wounds (10 were on the back of her neck). The police publicly challenged the ruling, noting the apartment's locked door and her boyfriend (who found the body) lacked defensive wounds. The medical examiner changed the cause of death to suicide with no explanation as to why soon after.

There are actually many cases where people have committed suicide by stabbing themselves many times. Just like in her case, the majority of the stabs are actually superficial test pokes, which is an indication that they're working themselves up to it. She had a history of mental illness, and had said some fairly crazy stuff just before the incident. And who gets stabbed 20 times with zero defensive wounds? Did she just rotate her body calmly like a shawarma and let a murderer go to town?

Obviously the interest in this case is mostly political, and now that Shapiro isn't the VP pick I'm sure it'll magically vanish again.

Wow, makes sense. For a " normal " person I can't understand how anyone could just stab myself, but with a history of mental health, anything is possible. Sad situation all around.

This might deserve its own thread but I'll put it here for now. Technology advancements in this arena have been withheld from the public for the last 100 years, or so, and its existence is to be revealed over the coming several years. The gold spot price literally dropped during the entire period where inflation was spiking in 2022. So much for your definitely not delusional inflation hedge.
