We've played a few guys this year where the announcers were going on an on about their spin rate being higher than MLB average or yada yada, and I'm just rolling my eyes like "gee, I wonder how that's possible?". Hell, maybe our guys do it too, but have some tact.

watching Tenn and Evansville. Made me think of Peebles. Looks like he struggled this year at the plate, not in the lineup today.

ETA, not sure if he's dealt with injuries

Not injuries. Just bad. Was splitting time with Stark for a bit but has pretty much been relegated to pinch hitting.

UNC was always going to be a big favorites regardless of who made it out of Tuscan.

The biggest winner of last weekend was UVA. Don't have to go face Arkansas in that environment with Hagen Smith and instead get to host a really average Kansas State team

Not been given a chance to play through struggles. Tenn coaching staff has destroyed his confidence. Needs to get somewhere else ASAP for his draft status

If I had to pick an ACC team to make a deep run in the CWS, my money would be on UVA.

I mean that's how good their lineup is. He's a better all around player than just about anybody out there but is still just a .300 hitter with a ton of swing and miss.

Tradeoffs - between putting the winning run on 2nd base by walking him, or pitching to him. I'm sure the plan wasn't to serve him up something belt high middle of the plate. Condon is even better, so hopefully we have a plan for what we will do. Whatever it is, you just can't afford to miss in the sweet spot.
