Went to VMI with Marlin Ikenberry. He's a damn good coach. Had a feeling jmu would make this a game

I fully expect to see Gainey start for USC tomorrow, but they just made the rest of their weekend tough bullpen wise. If we can get to him, really good shot.

Still thinking about that JMU pitcher. That was brutal. 2 outs bottom 9th, nobody on, 0-2 count, and a 2 run lead. He was their senior top closer, and he just imploded, first hitting the batter, and then with the error on a routine play in the 10th to lead to the loss. Never ever should have pitched to Messina in the 9th so that part is on their manager, but still. What a crazy twist to start the regional. I really dislike USC, they have got us so many times in football...really hoping this time we come out on top against them if we take care of business tonight.
