I'm not against a brush back pitch or two in any circumstance. One thing you can't do is hang a breaking pitch to good hitters. Burned Reid yesterday and Sam today.

Agree. I've just accepted that anytime we bunt or don't bunt, half the people here are going to hate it. Just move runners and get them in, I don't care how

Couldn't agree more. I just don't think you should do this early in the game with the top of your lineup batting. You're going to need more than 2 today, I can only think the coach is thinking he needs something here to lift their spirits.

How do we know Murr didn't bunt on his own there? Looked more like he was trying to get a hit than a true sac bunt to me
