Hopefully revenue will give the baseball over million to spend next year. How much does State have to spend in baseball via NIL

If Avent doesn't ask for (nor want) money, he won't get money.
(NIL-specific. He is passionate about the Doak renovations)
Samford hits a bomb. Dude taunts the whole stadium. Mercer takes players off the field in protest.

I guess it depends on what you consider close to 0.Mandras said:
I honestly think the nil value is close to 0. People more connected than myself have said specifically that we (1) have very little money and (2) that it's not our philosophy to bid for players.
Would be very happy to be corrected, as that is all 2nd hand info
WHy would he be more passionate about renovations than NIL?Mandras said:

Because every Athletics dept. in the country will give around that amount to their olympic sports whether fans think they should or notStateFan2001 said:

WIth these programs you aren't competing with pro leagues and they are not profitable so why would we pay the athletes? Most of these folks are true student athletes who are there to get an education and in most cases are getting a reduced cost or free education.BBADWOLF#1 said:
I was giving example how revenue could look. Wrestling is Top 10 program, should get some money. I would have no problem to leaving half million for Olympic sports

Because we are competing with other college programs.
Players did not leave the field in protest. They were pulled off the field to prevent a scuffle. Gupton, the Mercer SS Bradley Fyre, 2 coaches were ejected. Bradley Fyre's mother was also removed from the stadium after coming onto Mercers dugoutCLTWolf said:
Don't know where to put this (or care) but Gupton absolutely destroys a baseball and then proceeds to let everyone know about it.
The former Pack player is having a big year for Samford.
Looks like a fun game if you follow the tweets. HahaSamford hits a bomb. Dude taunts the whole stadium. Mercer takes players off the field in protest.

That game was out of control from the start. I'd love to know the context behind Gupton's actions. He was clearly yapping for a reason and not because he hit a homerun. Doesn't excuse the actions, but there's more to the story.
Ha, no doubt.Glasswolf said:Coach15 said:

I'm ok with watching a ball leave the yard but after that act like you've been there before. When I pitched Esposito would had me hit him if he came back up again.
