He's listed as a top 500, 9 grade on PG.

PBR likes him a bit more and has him listed as the 202nd best player in the class.

PBR lists him as 6'2 196 so he's got some decent size.

This kid and Everette Johnson are 2 kids you put at SS and CF and 1-2 in the batting order and you're set for a couple years. Would be massive to get both to campus in a couple years

The 2025 class is shaping up to be loaded even though it's still super early.

Johnson and West are up there in the rankings but CJ Gray is a stud too. He's got a cannon and he's fast, probably best on the bump pitching. Already hitting 95 throwing gas.

FLWolf's guy, Vincent DeCarlo is in that class as well.

Cam Uzzillia is supposed to thump and plays with Maroudis at Calvary Christian in Clearwater.

Several good arms too.

Hell, the '24 class is a good one. Lots of legit arms in that class. Not sure how many will make it to campus though.

BRANDON CRABTREE 3B / GRACE CHRISTIAN, NC / 2023

The NC State commit put together an impressive season at Grace Christian. He hit .613 on the year with 13 HRs and drive in 53 Runs. *This kid can really, really hit. He doesn't play the best competition, but he can just really swing it.

LUKE NIXON / NEW HANOVER , NC / 2023

The left hand hitting shortstop played a huge role for New Hanover. His athleticism shows in all phases of his game as helped lead the Wildcats to a 24 win season and deep playoff run. *My sleeper for the class. Very good athlete, smaller and much more twitchy than his brother. Can swing it.

Under dual threats

JAXON LUCAS SS / GARNER, NC / 2023

The ace of the Garner staff while also playing a key role and shortstop and at the plate. Struck out 98 in 62 IP with a 1.57 ERA. *Really big arm, up to 94. IMO his future is on the mound.


ANDERSON NANCE RHP / MOREHEAD, NC / 2024

Did all while leading Morehead to the 2A West Finals and winning Conference Player of the Year Honors. Struck out 132 in 69.2 IP. Hit .368 with 38 BB and 23 SB. *2024 kid, as listed. Just dominant with a year to grow.

Pitchers

TRUITT MANUEL RHP / WEST HENDERSON, NC / 2024

Manuel did what Aces do and pitched West Henderson to a 3A State Title. He punched out 110 in 61.2 IP while only allowing 6 ER on the year. *2024 kid, already up to 95 off the mound.

SAMUEL HARRIS SS / NEEDHAM BROUGHTON, NC / 2025

Helped lead Broughton to one of its more successful season in recent years. Took home Conference Pitcher of the Year Honors striking out 90 in 59.1 IP while only allowing 2 Runs. *2025 kid, monster sophomore year. Gave up 0 ER in conference play. Stud

Correct he hit 2 off of tucker Holland. He is a prime candidate for a kid who hits his way into the lineup
