Multiple sources have confirmed that NC State head coach Will Wade will leave after one season and accept the head coaching job at LSU, whenever it becomes available in the near future.

Wade posted a 20-14 record in his lone season at NC State, finishing 10-8 in the ACC with a loss to Texas in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament.

I thought I would be sad and angry about this, but I'm just relatively zen and disappointed.

Even if we were able to "win" him back, the damage was done with this extremely loyal fanbase.

He was who they said he was, and I ignored it until the last few days.

NC State could very well be stronger and more aligned because of this, and I know we all hope that's the case.
I'm going to fully support whoever gets the job.

What a d-bag Will Wade is.
